Das brandneue und einbaufertige Präzisions-Ersatzteil ersetzt die Ventilblöcke der E-Klassen der Baujahre 2009 bis 2016 und benötigt keine weiteren Ersatzteile für die Montage. Sie finden die Ventileinheit unten bei Ihrem Fahrzeug direkt hinter der Heck-Stoßstange, ungefähr mittig links in der linken Abdeckung. Warum benötigen wir einen Ventilblock? Durch das Luftfederungssystem erhalten die Modelle der E-Klassen W212 und S212 ein hohes Maß an Stabilität und Sicherheit. Gerade in Kurven mit hoher Seitenneigung ist es wichtig, dass das Fahrzeugniveau gehalten werden kann. Der Ventilblock spielt im Luftfederungssystem eine wichtige Rolle. Er ist im Grunde dafür verantwortlich, die Druckluft des Kompressors aufzunehmen und an die angeschlossenen Luftfederbälge zu verteilen. Der Ventilblock ist damit maßgeblich für die Niveauregulierung Ihres Mercedes-Benz verantwortlich. Wie funktioniert ein Ventilblock? Ventilblöcke steuern den Luftstrom, der vom Kompressor in den Ventilblock gepresst wird. Elektronisch gesteuerte Magnetventile regeln dabei den Luftfluss, indem sie entweder auf „geschlossen“ oder auf „offen“ gestellt werden. Im für die E-Klassen passenden Ventilblock sind insgesamt 6 Druckluftanschlüsse zu finden. Über den 6 mm weiten Druckluftanschluss gelangt die Luft in den Ventilblock. Abgegeben wird diese über 5 weitere 4 mm starke Druckluftanschlüsse. Jeder Einzelne davon ist farblich markiert und mit einem Kürzel gekennzeichnet. Dadurch wird vermieden, dass Sie beim Einbau des Ventilblocks falsche Anschlüsse miteinander verbinden. Anschlusskürzel und Ursachen für einen Defekt des Ventilblocks Die Druckluftanschlüsse sind mit (SP) für den Druckluftspeicher, mit (VR) und (VL) für die Federbeine vorne rechts und links sowie mit (HR) und (HL) für die Luftfedern hinten rechts und links gekennzeichnet. Offenkundig ist, dass der Ventilblock Ihres Fahrzeugs bei jeder Fahrt stark in Anspruch genommen wird. Unzähliges Öffnen und Schließen der Magnetventile können im Laufe der Zeit zur Ermüdung derselben führen. Die wichtigste Schadenursache aber ist eine nicht funktionierende Trocknereinheit im Luftfederungskompressor. Feuchte Umgebungsluft wird komprimiert und ins System eingespeist. Die Magnetventile des Ventilblocks vertragen keine Feuchtigkeit und gehen reihenweise kaputt. Prüfen Sie deshalb beim Wechseln des Ventilblocks auch die Funktion des Kompressors.
