Nach Jahren der Stagnation auf dem Tabletmarkt bezüglich der Display-Technologie und dicken Bildschirmrändern kommt das neue Huawei MatePad Pro mit super-schlanken Rändern und einem Punch-Hole Display daher. Durch die Verkleinerung der Bildschirmränder schrumpften auch die Abmessungen und das Gewicht des 10,8 Zoll großen Tablets im Vergleich zum Huawei MediaPad M6 10,8".
