Ashima Disc Brake Adapter, PM-ISWhen you are converting Post Mount (PM) to International Standard (IS) discs, Ashima have the full range of adapters. These strong adapters should do the job, whatever you need. The Ashima range of adaptors are designed to allow fitment to most major brand OEM and aftermarket systems ,they are also suitable for both hydraulic and mechanical brakes. When selecting the correct adapter to accommodate an increase in disc size extra care should be taken to ensure the correct size is used. Ashima stated disk compatibility assume OEM front 160mm and rear 140mm disks. However in recent years, some OEMs fit oversized disks to font and/or rear, in such cases the brake calliper will have an adapter fitted. If this is the case, the OEM adapter will either need to be removed (Ashima recommends this) or you should select an adapter for the next standard disc size below your requirement.Example: If you have a PM brake calliper, PM forks and wish to up-grade the front disk form 160 to 203 and the rear form 140 to 180 you will require the following adapters:Front AU32 and Rear AU04.
New for 2016!Prologo has created a new TT and TRI saddle: The T-Gale family is flat and designed to give the best performance & comfort during TT events and Triathlons.Tested in the wind tunnel this saddle has highly technological features and an unique design. The nose is 4cm shorter than a normal saddle; it is perfect for the rider to exert maximum power in aerodynamic positions over a long time.Specifications:Size (mm): 240 * 128Weight (g): 253Base: Carbon Fiber InjectionRails: TiroxCover: MicrofiberTechnologiesPAS: Perineal Area System: this special cutaway technology eliminates pressure spikes and numbness in the pelvic area. Unlike regular cut-outs the particular shape of the foam mold leaves the base intact and ensures that the saddle remains durable over time. This ensures a continuity of the pelvis movement even after many kilometres. The result is comfort and performance over long rides. It’s compatible with both male and female anatomies.TiroX: Lightweight alloy steel rail. This is an aerospace grade metal with a high resistance to traction and torsion. Well suited to the stresses of a performance saddle it offers a good alternative to carbon Nack rails. It has 7mm rail clamp diameter.ESD: Ergo Shape Design: This is a refined saddle shape developed as a result of biomechanical studies done by Prologo over several years. ESD saddles feature a slender front area and a short rear area that quickly reaches maximum width. This permits a round pedal stroke allowing the rider to maintain a natural position. The legs of the cyclist have more space during all phases of the pedal stroke reducing friction and increasing alignment and performance. Finally the opening swift of the rear part of the saddle helps the rider to find the correct support and support of the ischial bones. This prevents sliding forward and any rotation of the pelvis.Transition Hook: A special hook on the front of the saddle so you can hook the bike up ready for transitions.
