You won’t want to miss Winter the Dolphin, the world’s most famous dolphin, and star of Dolphin Tale, which was even filmed even at Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Winter’s incredible story has also been seen on Oprah, NBC Today Show, ABC’s Good Morning America and others. Winter may have lost her tail but she will capture your heart.
The trained guides will help you to spot the incredible variety of sea mammals inhabiting the waters around Tenerife. Common bottlenose dolphins and pilot whales are just two of the 28 species that make these waters their natural habitat. Make sure you have your camera ready to capture the beautiful mammals as they play in the waters around your boat. Then after spending time in the company of these amazing animals we'll continue sailing along the south coast and depending on the excursion, we'll head for the breathtaking cliffs at Los Gigantes."
Relax on the spacious sun decks or opt for a swim and a snorkel in the pristine waters of the Atlantic Ocean. The return trip will give you the chance to enjoy a different view of this spectacular coast with its sophisticated resorts, volcanic beaches and secluded coves, as we sail back down to Puerto Colon, where the voyage will come to an end. With your ticket you can enjoy one of the most unique and magnificent buildings in Barcelona: the Casa Milà, or "La Pedrera", the pejorative name the locals gave to the building due to its ground-breaking design and resemblance to a stone quarry. Its spectacular façade, with its undulating forms and twisted wrought-iron balcony rails, will welcome you on a route through the most important parts of this amazing building.
You can begin your visit at the top of the building, among the sinuous shapes and uneven surfaces of the rooftop with its chimneys in magical shapes that are so frequent in all Gaudí's work. When you come down into the attic space, you'll find an area that houses the only exhibition dedicated to Gaudí's life and work where you'll find out about his designs with models and plans, objects and designs, photographs and videos.
Afterwards, you'll be able to visit the recreation of an early-20th-century period apartment with furniture from the time and decorative elements designed by Gaudí, which will give you a glimpse of how an upper-middle class family lived. To end your visit, you'll be able to enjoy the courtyards which show the innovations of Gaudí's designs where you'll be able to see how nature inspired the entire building.
La Pedrera is now one of Barcelona's key cultural attractions which organises a wide range of activities and has a number of galleries staging exhibitions which are open to the public.
We'll leave the hotel at around 09:30 and head for the fascinating Tzotzil Maya settlement of San Juan Chamula, famous for its unique religious practices blending Catholic and Maya beliefs. During our tour, we'll learn about the culture and traditions of this remarkable community. We visit first their atmospheric cemetery with its Maya crosses spread out across a hill. And from there we'll wander through the village to the main church of the community. Our next stop, San Lorenzo Zinacatan, is another Tzotzil-speaking community. This is one of the most colourful communities in the highlands, and this can be seen in the brilliant red, blue and purple clothing embroidered with large flowers worn by the local people. We'll visit the main church of the community and we'll also meet local people with the chance to buy some of their beautiful work. hen on the way back we we will go on a guided tour of the beautiful colonial city of San Cristobal de las Casas before arriving back at our hotel at around 14:30.
