We will begin with a sightseeing tour of Madrid described on the program and will continue with the visit of the Royal Palace. Itinerary: Start the tour from Julia Travel office where we take our coach and head to the Plaza de Oriente, then we will arrive at the Debod Temple of must where we will stop for a walk and taking some pictures accompanied by our guide. After this visit we will return to our coach to head towards the Plaza Mayor where we make a new stop and we will be able to visit la Plaza de Villa and Puerta del Sol We will return to the coach to continue our visit Carrera de San Jerónimo Street, Las Cortes (Spanish Parliament), Neptuno’s Square (Famous artistic fountain), Paseo Del Prado (Walk of Art: Thyssen, Prado & Reina Sofía Museums), Atocha Railway Station, Royal Botanic Gardens of Madrid, Cibeles Square (Famous artistic fountain), Alcalá Street, Alcalá’s Gate, Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas (Bullring) where we will make our last stop. To conclude we will return to the coach and end up seeing Santiago Bernabéu Stadium (Home of Real Madrid CF), Paseo de la Castellana Street, Plaza de Colón (Columbus Square), National Library, Gran Vía Street, Plaza de España, Plaza de Oriente (end of the tour). We will make convenient stops for walking and taking pictures at Plaza Mayor, Templo de Debod and Las Ventas Bullring, if the weather permits and always accompanied by our guide. The Royal Palace was built in the XVIII century upon the ancient Baroque Italian style fortress of the Habsburg. It is one of the most beautiful and best preserved palaces in Europe and a symbol of the permanence and consolidation of Madrid as the capital of the Kingdom. The Palace was the official residence of the Spanish Monarchy from 1765 to 1931. To date, the most stunning receptions of the Spanish Crown are celebrated here: audiences, dinner parties, signature of agreements and the traditional ceremony of presentation of Credential Letters from foreign ambassadors to His Majesty the King. We will visit the Armory Square (exterior of the palace), the Grand Staircase, the King Charles III’s Apartments, the Queen’s Apartments, the Banqueting Hall, the Royal Chapel and the Throne Room and the Crown Room. After the guided tour, you may visit on your own the Royal Armory and enjoy the views from the viewpoint of the Armory Square.   Please note that the itinerary is subject to change due to the events to be celebrated in the City (demonstrations, sport events, cultural events, oficial acts and public works).

USS Arizona Memorial Narrated Tour The National Park Service's USS Arizona Memorial Narrated Tour provides a fascinating interpretation on the USS Arizona Memorial, the Visitor Center's two museums and the waterfront interpretive displays. This award winning 2 hour narrated tour is like having a Park Ranger guiding your family throughout your entire tour and is recommended for all visitors looking for a more enriching and inspiring Pearl Harbor experience. For visitors interested in this Narrated Tour, headsets are available in the courtyard of the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. Besides English, the audio tour is also available in French, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Russian, Italian, German, and Spanish. USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park The USS Bowfin Submarine was launched December 7, 1942, one year exactly after the attack on Pearl Harbor and was nicknamed the “Pearl Harbor Avenger.” Credited for sinking 44 major ships on nine war patrols, the USS Bowfin became one of the most decorated submarines of World War II. Visitors first discover the largest Submarine Museum in the Pacific and take a self-guided audio tour on the history of undersea warfare, beginning with the first submarines ever built, to World War I, World War II and the modern nuclear submarines on patrol today. Then visitors proceed on a fascinating self-guided audio tour within the USS Bowfin Submarine itself and go compartment by compartment to learn how the 80 sailors and officers live on their four month patrols. Both of the Submarine Museum and the USS Bowfin Submarine Tour are incredible tours and be done in approximately one hour. These tours are available in English, German, French, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Check In Policy & Maximizing Your Time Visitors with ticket reservations are required to check in at the National Park Service ticket counter one hour before their tour time. If you check in late, the National Park Service reserves the right to reassign your tour tickets. We highly recommend starting at the Visitors Center’s museum before embarking to the memorial. No Bag Policy For security reasons, no purses, backpacks, fanny packs, diaper bags, large camera cases or luggage is allowed at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. Valuables should not be left in your vehicle. Bag storage is available at the entrance for a fee of $3 per bag. We recommend that visitors bring in their wallets, ID, water, cameras and cellphones. Strollers Strollers are allowed in the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, but not in the theaters or on shuttle boats to the USS Arizona Memorial. While strollers may be parked at the theaters and picked up once visitors return from the Memorial, the National Park Service is not responsible for monitoring strollers or other personal items left behind. Restrooms There are public restroom facilities available at the Visitor Center; visitors are encouraged to use the facilities at the Visitor Center before beginning their Arizona Memorial Program. Food and Beverage Other than clear bottled water, no food or drinks are allowed in the theater, on the shuttle boats, or at the USS Arizona Memorial. Dress Attire Civilian Visitors are reminded that they are visiting a site of tremendous loss of life in service to our country. Sandals are permissible, but bathing suits or profane T-shirts are discouraged. Military Military visitors to the USS Arizona Memorial are within the boundary of Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, and military regulations relating to military dress are enforced by Navy personnel. Per the Pacific Commander, military visitors in uniform are required to dress in Class B or better in order to gain access to the shuttle boats to the USS Arizona Memorial. Battle dress uniform is not allowed on the USS Arizona Memorial, though it is allowed throughout the Visitor Center and at sites on Ford Island. Military visitors are welcome to wear civilian clothes when they visit.

After leaving your resort and meeting your guides we'll start the climb up to the Soria reservoir. There'll be great views of the impressive volcanic landscapes on the way and once there we'll stop for a traditional breakfast (not included) consisting of local specialities, freshly-squeezed papaya juice and home-made bread. Then it's time to go off road again – we'll speed down dirt tracks raising clouds of dust on the way. You'll see the local cave dwellings, plantations of tropical fruit and more otherworldly rock formations. After a drive through a fragrant pine forest we'll stop at the remote settlement of Tunte for lunch in a traditional restaurant. We'll feast on barbecued chicken, a selection of salads and tiny local potatoes with spicy mojo salsa. Sangria and soft drinks are also included in the price. Then the brave hearted can go on a camel ride in Fataga, Berber-style, for around 30 minutes. In the afternoon we'll continue through our trek through some of the island's many nature reserves making plenty of photo stops for photos before returning to the resort in the late afternoon. Trip style: Walking tour, neighbourhood tour Language Tour: English Full Itinerary Strap on your walking shoes for what’s sure to be the most epic tour of Detroit’s historic Corktown this side of Michigan Avenue. We’ll start on a block that has been key to Corktown’s revival, where BBQ, burgers, coffee, and craft cocktails beckon crowds of hungry and thirsty Detroiters. From here, you’ll take in the contrasting views of Detroit’s highs and lows. We’ll walk toward the massive Michigan Central Railroad Station, left for ruin and a symbol of the decline of Detroit. We’ll get a good look at this hulking structure, which has been ranked as one of the “must-see” abandoned buildings in the world. To contrast that, we’ll continue our Detroit walking tour past the charming, colourful Victorian houses of residential Corktown. This is Detroit’s oldest neighbourhood, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Your guide will point out some local faves, like a charming Irish tavern, an indie record store, a great deli, and a popular new brewpub. We’ll also hear about the new microbrewery, start-up hub, and technology center that are helping to define Corktown as the neighbourhood to know. Along the way, your local guide will point out an early 19th-century church that’s one of oldest churches in Detroit. Hopefully by this point you’ve worked up an appetite for a visit to the new Detroit Institute of Bagels — yes, it’s as official as it sounds and for you bagel snobs out there (we see you, New York), they take traditional bagel-making seriously. Start your seventh-inning stretch as we return to Michigan Avenue for a mile-long stroll past The Greening of Detroit office (and learn a little about their tree-planting and beautification efforts), and to Ernie Harwell Park, the gone-but-not-forgotten former home of the Detroit Tigers. This was the home field for baseball greats like Ty Cobb, Hank Greenberg, and Al Kaline, and is where Nelson Mandela spoke shortly after his release from prison in South Africa. We’ll be sure to stop by Detroit Athletic Co. that started as a humble peanut stand and has grown to provide the best selection of sports swag. Along our Corktown tour, you’ll hear about the local funky spot for live music and art shows, and a favourite shop where you can get a “Coney dog” without having to go to Coney Island. Your local guide will also point out where to get some crazy-good shawarma sandwiches that Detroiters absolutely love, as well as epic burgers, wine, and charcuterie. Our colourful Detroit tour ends at a pot of gold in the Gaelic League Irish-American Club of Detroit. You may be a wee bit thirsty by the time we arrive, so we’ve got you covered with a complimentary half-pint. After the tour has officially ended, you’re free to stay at the Gaelic League for more beer or some Irish whiskey, or maybe you’ll want to visit the tasting room at Two James Distillery, or visit Batch Brewing Co., Brew Detroit, or one of the other great bars in Corktown.
