Participants should plan on spending 1 to 1.5 hours at Dolphins Plus from arrival to departure. Participants must understand English or bring someone that can translate in order to take part in the swim program. Participants should be comfortable in water that is 12 - 15 feet deep. Swimmers must be at least 7 years old to participate. A participating parent or guardian, age 18 or older must accompany swimmers age 7 to 9 years. Swimmers age 10 to 17 must be accompanied at the facility by a participating or non- swimming parent/ guardian age 18 or older, but can enter the water independently. Pregnant women are unable to participate in our in-water encounters. If any members of your party have special needs please contact us before completing your booking  

Athens half day tour begins with a panoramic drive around Syntagma square, passing by National Garden, Hadrian’s Arch, St. Paul’s Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Catholic Cathedral,and Schliemann’s House. You will then drive past the Athens Trilogy which includes the University of Athens, the Academy of Athens, and the National Library. Proceed, passing by Zappeion and Temple of Olympian Zeus. Make your way to the archaeological site of Acropolis an UNESCO’S world heritage monument and visit Propylae the monumental entrance to the Acropolis which blends Doric and Ionic building principles, and the small temple Athena Nike, which stands on a protruding mass of rock, protecting the gate to the citade and of course the Parthenon, and Erechtheion with its porch of Maidens. This is a premier learning experience in the Everglades Area and is superb for the entire family... from toddlers to the grandparents. Every day is different in the Everglades 10,000 Islands so we try to be very flexible and dynamic. The tour may/will include a bit of birding, some photography, strolling thru tidal pools on a remote beach, exploration of one of the 10,000 Islands. The first part of the experience is a guided boating eco tour in search of dolphins, manatees and other wildlife. The second part is a hands on: interpretive, guided walk on a remote barrier island to explore the beaches, tidal pools and inter-tidal zones. For parents and grandparents wanting an active role as educators, our naturalists will help you be the instructor.
