Historical Algarve is a full day tour departing from Praia da Luz. You will get the opportunity to visit one of the Portugal most beautiful natural heritage site which is Ria Formosa Natural Park, Silves Castle, Monchique Mountain. After lunch you continue to the beautiful town of Lagos, a town linked to the Portuguese Discoveries, where you will have the chance to have a look at the old slave market (the first in Europe), Saint Anthony`s Golden Church, the fort and the old town. You will also visit Santa Luzia, a small picturesque village located very close to Tavira, which specialises in catching octopus, and the cosmopolitan city of Faro - the capital of the Algarve. The cruise begins at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, follows the ‘rive gauche’ (left bank) past: Eiffel Tower, Hotel des Invalides, Musees d’Orsay, Institut de France, Notre Dame de Paris, La Grand Bibliotheque, up to the Finance Ministry in Bercy, Hotel de Ville, Musee du Louvre, Concorde, Grand Palais, Trocadero, Tour Eiffel. The boat is fully glazed and offers a perfect view of Paris and of the banks of the Seine. Desde Edimburgo, viajará al noroeste, pasando por el castillo de Stirling, antes de hacer su primera parada en Kilmahog. Aquí habrá un descanso para tomar un refresco y la oportunidad de ver el ganado de cerca. A continuación, viajará hasta Rob Roy Country of Clans MacGregor y Campbell. Seguirá por los paisajes de Rannoch Moor hasta Glen Coe, una de las cañadas más famosos de Escocia, lugar de la Masacre de Glencoe en 1692. Departing Edinburgh, you travel north-west for your first stop of the day at magnificent Stirling Castle*, one of Scotland’s most historically significant castles, sitting high on volcanic rock and offering wonderful views of the surrounding landscape. You will have time to visit the castle and learn of the exploits of key historic figures including William Wallace, Robert the Bruce and Mary Queen of Scots. With lots of interesting things to see and do here, the Stirling Castle experience is a must for any visitor to Scotland. You then continue on, past medieval Doune Castle, to the pretty town of Callander, situated on the banks of the River Teith in Stirlingshire, where you will have a chance to stop to enjoy some lunch. From here we enter The Trossachs National Park, also known as “The Highlands in miniature” for its abundance of lochs, mountains and forests, and famous as the homeland of legendary outlaw, Rob Roy MacGregor. You will then reach the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond, one of the prettiest and largest lochs in the whole of Scotland. Here you can enjoy an hour long cruise* taking in spectacular views of the loch’s many islands and the surrounding mountains. Alternatively, take a stroll through the picturesque loch-side conservation village of Luss, with its quaint houses, cafes and stunning views across the loch’s western shoreline. After Munich's most important sights, this tour takes you directly to the Allianz Arena, the most modern stadium in Europe and also the venue of the 2006 Football World Cup.
