Mystery surrounds this 5,000 year old World Heritage Site. Visit this pre-historic South West monument and decide for yourself whether Stonehenge was designed as a place of sun worship, or as part of a huge astronomical calendar, or something different altogether! An awe-inspiring family visit, Stonehenge is a powerful reminder of the once-great Stone and Bronze Ages. Each phase of Stonehenge was a circular structure, aligned with the rising sun at the solstice. Erected between 3,000 BC and 1,600 BC, the stones were carried hundreds of miles over land and sea, while antlers and bones were used to dig the pits that hold the stones. Modern techniques in archaeology, and the series of recent digs, have helped to shape new theories about the stones, but their ultimate purpose remains a fascinating and enduring mystery.      Arriving at Stonehenge (important Information for Groups) Stonehenge now ask that coach drivers and tour leaders/guides have their correct booking reference number(s) ready on arrival at Stonehenge. This will help Site Staff ensure we keep queues to a minimum. During busy periods they will unfortunately be restricted in their flexibility for providing entry to groups turning up outside of their time slot. However, they understand that delays happen so we will of course try to accommodate your groups as best we can. Please be advised that under no circumstances must groups disembark except at the designated drop-off bay and only once your coach is fully parked. If your coach has the passenger door located on the right-hand side, please proceed directly to a coach parking bay before disembarkation.                          Note for Seniors and Students: The Staff at Stonehenge ask that any persons carrying vouchers for Student and/or Senior concessions please also carry valid identification. This is to avoid any unecessary embarrasment or misunderstanding if you are asked for proof on arrival.

On 26th of November four specimens of bottlenose dolphins arrived to Lanzarote, from Duisburg and Nuremberg (Germany), which were successfully transported in a specially equipped transport airplane in the company of a team of veterinarians, biologists and caregivers. Their acclimatisation to the new facilities built for them is satisfactory in every way. Their health is optimum, they feed normally and thoroughly enjoy the seven million litres of seawater that fill the spacious and deep pools of their new home. Conditions: Adults and children must be 8+ years old and 1.10+ meters high. Each child from 8 to 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult (18+), who also participates and pays for the interaction.  The groups are limited to 12 people to secure maximum enjoyment! Participants must bring a swimsuit and towel, the use of sun tan cream is not permitted. Participants must remove all jewellery prior to entering the water. Glasnevin Cemetery was established in 1828. An award winning museum was built in 2010 containing a café, shop, interactive exhibitions, genealogy section, and function space. Glasnevin is the largest cemetery in Ireland with over 1.5 million people buried there including many historical icons and regular Dubliners. Daniel O'Connell, the liberator and cemetery founder, whose monument tower is the tallest in Ireland, lies in a decorative crypt. Glasnevin now operates as a Tourist attraction in Dublin, its guided tours being particularly successful. It also continues to operate as a fully functioning facility for burials and cremations.  Tours include a visit to Daniel O'Connell's Crypt. The tours are 1 1/4 hours and the museum is self guided. The O'Connell Tower is now open to visitors! You can now clumb the O'Connell Tower - Ireland's yallest round tower for the first time in over 45 years. As you pass through the ornate crpyt of Daniel O'Connell, you begin the journey to the top of the monument built in his honour. After a comprehensive restoration programme, the staircase in the tower is now accessible, complete with an exhibition about the legendary figure himself and the fascinating history pf the tower. Once at the top, you will enjoy 360 degree panoramic views of the sprawling grounds of the cemetary, the city of Dublin, Wicklow and the Irish Sea. Tower opening hours: 10am-5pm daily

Hearing Impairments: All activities are equipped with a 'Help Hearing Guide' - a read-a-long guide for visitors with hearing impairments. This is a free service and can be obtained by an activity staff member on the day of your visit.  Visual Impairments: Service Animals (Registered Guide Dogs, Hearing Dogs and Medical Alert Dogs) are welcome around KidZania, however due to health and safety reasons, there are selected activities where they will not be permitted.  Accessible Parking: Westfield London offers a selection of accessible parking. Blue Badge holder will be permitted four hours free parking Monday to Friday. To qualify for this, you must provide a Blue Badge and parking ticket to Westfield staff at the Shopmobility desk.  Getting Around: KidZania is entirely accessible to wheelchair users, with many lifts and escalator available. There are several accessible toilets, a variety of rest areas and all food and retail outlets are wheelchair friendly.
