With the vivacious Wendy on his arm, Brett Whiteley was magnetic. He abhorred straight lines, adored drugs, alcohol, women. He worked in vivid colour and ravishing curves. Heroin was both muse and merciless master. Out of this tumultuous life spilled a messy array of brilliant artworks and astonishing self-reflection. In 2019, this Australian icon meets two of Australia’s greatest artists in a brand new work for the Australian stage: Whiteley, by Elena Kats-Chernin and Justin Fleming. Kats-Chernin is peerless among contemporary composers, celebrated for her enormous output and music that bursts with colour, life and tenderness. Fleming is a respected playwright and librettist whose work is renowned for its warmth, wit and poignancy. Together they’ve created an opera to honour the life and work of a man who could not extricate his talent from his demons. Production designer Dan Potra’s technology-driven set is an immersive world created from Whiteley’s most famous paintings. Winner of over 50 major awards including a Grammy Award and three Tony Awards®, WICKED is the untold story of the witches of Oz. Long before Dorothy drops in, two other girls meet in the land of Oz. One, born with emerald-green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. WICKED tells the story of their remarkable odyssey, how these two unlikely friends grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good. Declared "The Best Musical of the Decade" by Entertainment Weekly and "A Cultural Phenomenon" by Variety, WICKED is based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, has music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, and a book by Winnie Holzman.  Recommended age for children is 8 and up. No children under 5 admitted. Running time for the show is 2 hours and 30 minutes, plus a 15-minute intermission.

Your safety is paramount at Forestal Park and you will receive a full safety briefing on all the safety rules and mechanisms you will need at the park. You will also receive a full set of personal protective equipment. No special level of physical fitness is required and there are activities for all ages and physical abilities. So come and spend a day jam-packed with adventure, sports, nature and fun for the whole family. The maximum capacity of visitors to the park at a certain time is 110 adults and 30 children (in this case six to nine years) at the same time so the park is never too crowded. The time for the sports circuit is between two-and-a-half to three hours. And for the family circuit about two hours. You can enjoy only one circuit and the price is the same price for both the sporting circuit (participants must be at least 1.45 metres tall) and the family circuit (participants must be at least 1.10 metres in height). Children: 1.10 metres, minimum height six to 12 years inclusive.

Due to the fact that there is no elevator in the building at Chopin Gallery (14 Slawkowska Street) the product 304 Chopin Piano Concert is not recommended for participants with walking disabilities. 

Outward journey A representative will meet you at London's St Pancras International station to give you your welcome pack and tickets ready for your 2.5 hour Eurostar train journey to Paris city centre. Meeting Point: Eurostar Terminal, 6.15am Monday - Friday or 5.30am Saturdays. Passport required for travel and please check any visa requirements for travel to France prior to booking.  On arrival at Gare Du Nord, you and your host will board your luxury coach and start your journey in Paris. You will see famous landmarks including the Champs-Elysees, the Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, Musee d'Orsay and Place de la Concorde. Your first stop is the Eiffel Tower, where you'll have time to get up close and take plenty of photos. You will have free time to explore the area, may have some lunch. As your host for recommendations. (Entrance to the Eiffel Tower is not included) Return journey Following a full day in Paris, make your way back to Gare du Nord station with your guide for your train back to London (arrival 21.39 local time)
