Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse Situated at the most south westerly tip of Australia is the Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, where the Southern and Indian Oceans meet. The lighthouse stands 39 metres in height from ground level and 56 metres above sea level, shining out over the landscape for 48 kilometres. Margaret River Winery The first significant planting of vines in the region was in 1967, indulge in a wine tasting and discover why Margaret River is regarded as one of Australia’s greatest wine producing regions. Margaret River Township Enjoy some brief free time to explore the quaint shops and chic cafes of the area. You will also find craft work created by locals and an array of specialty shops.

Highlights Sail on a traditional wooden boat and tour the islands of the Caldera! Description The bus leaves from the head offices in the town of Fira and transfers you to the port of Athinios. The boat departs from the old port of Fira and heads towards the volcanic island of Nea Kameni, which lies just 10 minutes away from the bay of Fira. The boat will remain there for 1 hour 15 mins. This gives you plenty of time to walk up to the volcano’s active craters and take photos- it takes about 20 mins. It is worth reaching the top to experience the smoke evaporating and the sulfur's intense smell, when you scratch the volcano’s surface. The next stop is the island of Palaia Kameni where the Hot Springs are located. The boat anchors a few meters outside the small bay of Agios Nikolaos, it lowers down a ladder in the water and you will have 30 mins for a revitalising swim! You can swim a distance of about 30 meters into the famous mud baths of Palaia Kameni which are believed to have beneficial abilities for skin and other diseases. The water temperature is 30-35 degrees Celsius, but it is constantly mixed with sea water. The island of Thirassia is the next destination of your sailing tour, where you will have 2 hours free time to swim in the crystal waters of Korfos or to taste the local dishes in one of the traditional taverns.You can walk or take a donkey ride to the nearby picturesque village of Manolas with its narrow streets - the view from there to Santorini is definitely worth a visit.  During the return journey to the Old Port in Fira, you will experience sailing near the volcanic cliffs of Oia for a chance to capture with your camera the unique scenery. The bus will wait for you at Athinios Port to return and transfer you back to Fira Central Square. Highlights New Norcia Museum and Art Gallery A little piece of Spain comes alive in this town, full of history, art and architecture. The town’s main attraction is the museum and art gallery. In the museum you will find extraordinary artefacts dating back to when New Norcia was an Aboriginal mission, a hub for farming and a diverse town for education and culture. New Norcia Abbey Church and St Gertrude’s College The Abbey Church is home to one of only two large Moser organs, originally crafted in Germany, this organ was imported to Australia in the 1920s. Visit St Gertrude’s College, a grand gothic style building which was originally built as a girls boarding school and opened in 1908. Nambung National Park Home to the iconic Pinnacles Desert, Nambung National Park features an array of coastal dunes. Rich in flowering plants, this is a great spot where vegetation blooms into flowers during the season. Pinnacles Desert These mystical limestone pillars make up one of Australia’s most unique landscapes, rising eerily out of the sand and reaching up to several metres tall. See the Pinnacles from the lookout over the park or take a guided walk through these amazing spires. If time permits be sure to make a visit to the Pinnacle Desert Discovery Centre to discover even more about these natural wonders. Wildflowers (Seasonal) Stop to view wildflowers throughout the tour whilst they are in season. Varieties include the orange flowering Christmas Tree, Kangaroo Paw, Banksia, Wattle and Everlastings.
