Aus biologischem Anbau

Der Wein ist frisch, fruchtig und sehr reich, ganz im Stil eines Burgunders. Seine Farbe ist goldfarben und klar, er besticht mit Aromen von Aprikosen, Birnen und grünem Apfel, mit einer Note von Nuss, Haselnuss und weissen Blüten, und er ist leicht buttrig im Abgang. Die Vanille-Eiche-Note ist sehr subtil und gut eingebunden, dazu kommt noch ein Hauch von Zitrone. Am Gaumen ist es ein komplexer und sehr ausgewogener Wein mit ausgeprägter Frische und einem langen Abgang.

Der Weinberg in etwa 140 Höhenmetern bringt sehr rassige, mineralische Rieslinge hervor. Thomas Pfaffmann macht daraus einen Riesling mit feinem Duft nach Pfirsichen, rauchigen und erdigen Aromen. Im Mund präsentiert er sich wie ein typischer Pfälzer Riesling sein sollte: knackig, mineralisch und saftig.

Im Bouquet fruchtige und florale Aromen in Verbindung mit einer leichten Holznote. Frisch und subtil am Gaumen mit einem harmonischer Ausgleich aus Eleganz und Kraft. Passt zu: Fisch und Schalentieren.
