Use our self-guided map to discover how animals are linked to each other, their homes and you. Polar Play Zone Kids have a place at Shedd that they can call their own—Polar Play Zone. It’s cool as ice and twice as nice! The penguins think so, too. Play! Splash! Pretend! What would you like to be? A sleek sliding penguin? A deep-sea explorer? How about both? In Polar Play Zone, you can slip into a penguin suit and try being a bird in the Icy South play area. From there, head to the Icy North to explore the belugas’ Arctic waters in a kid-sized submarine. Don’t forget to shake hands—or is it arms?—with colorful sea stars in the touch pools. In Polar Play Zone, you’ll learn about polar opposites—big and small, fast and slow, shallow and deep, even north and south—while you play. Children's Play dome  Imaginations will soar at the Children's Play Dome, a one-of-a-kind space-themed playground. With the majestic Rocket Garden as a backdrop, children can take off in a spacecraft, climb a moon rock wall, crawl through rocket tunnels and slide to the surface of the Moon. KSC Bus Tour  There’s no better way to get a glimpse of Kennedy Space Center than on one of our daily tours, departing by bus every 15 minutes from the Visitor Complex. Our experienced tour guides will take you past some of the most iconic NASA landmarks.  

A day of fun in the sun on the Gulf Coast of Mexico at Clearwater Beach   Enjoy a relaxing day at the beach  Clearwater Marine Aquarium -  CMA is host to Atlantic bottlenose dolphins, sea turtles, river otters, stingrays, sharks and more. At CMA, you can find yourself with a dolphin, feeding a stingray, watching our world-famous dolphin shows or having your picture taken with a dolphin. Take a behind the scenes tours to see how our animal hospital works or visit our theatre to watch footage of our team recuing and treating injured marine animals. You won’t want to miss Winter the Dolphin, the world’s most famous dolphin, and star of Dolphin Tale, which was even filmed even at Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Winter lost her tail in a crab trap, but is now healthy and swimming freely with a prosthetic tail. Winter’s incredible story has also been seen on Oprah, NBC Today Show, ABC’s Good Morning America and others. Winter may have lost her tail but she will capture your heart.   

The Beast operates every hour on the hour from 10.00 - 18.00 out of Pier 83 at 42nd Street and 12th Avenue. Throughout the ride, the captain and crew keep the passengers excited with upbeat rock and roll music and New York-style humor. They’ll have the whole family laughing and screaming with rollercoaster-like twists and turns, pulsating music and a touch of comedy, squirting the kids just for fun. No food or drink is allowed on board.  Tour Length  Approximately 30 minutes. Please note that the Beast does not run when it’s raining.  The BEAST Speedboat is a thrill ride that zooms down the Hudson at up to 45 mph.  Screeches to a halt within 100 feet of the Statue of Liberty for photo ops. Panoramic views of midtown and lower Manhattan as you speed by.  Rockin’ soundtrack.  Fun, interactive BEAST Handlers (captain and crew).  Be aware - you may get wet! Due to the fast, bumpy, and extreme nature of the BEAST ride, you must observe the following Absolutely no pregnant women on board THE BEAST.  Absolutely no people with heart conditions, back injuries, or those susceptible to back injury! All passengers must stay seated while the boat is in motion. Keep your hands and head in the boat while docking. Hold on to hats and sunglasses, they may fly away when THE BEAST gets up to full speed. The tour starts at the Turia gardens, a beautifully landscaped park built on the dried-up river that used to wind its way through the city. Pedal past the main monuments of this sophisticated city, including its splendid and rather unique-looking cathedral, which while mainly Gothic with early Romanesque influences also has Renaissance, baroque and neo-classical features.  See the imposing Torres de Quart, the bustling Central Market and the buzzing Carme district, heading for Valencia’s newest landmark, the ultra-modern City of the Arts and Sciences. Then, if you wish, on the way back we'll stop at a local bar for a well-earned drink. ​
