Your Journey: Take off from Queenstown, and fly above the rugged backcountry of Central Otago, before heading westward to where the glacial fed rivers empty into Lake Wakatipu. Witness what the power of nature has created over the years, as you journey over two remarkable National Parks; Mt Aspiring and the world heritage listed Fiordland National Park. On arrival in Milford Sound, join your purpose-built small boat for a comfortable two hour cruise through one of the world’s natural wonders. Make your way out past the iconic Mitre Peak and cruise the length of the fiord while our skipper highlights points of interest along the way, including the mighty Bowen Falls, Lion Mountain, Copper Point, Seal Rock and Stirling Falls. Keep an eye out for wildlife that can be found in the region including seals, pods of dolphins and the rare Fiordland Crested Penguin (seasonal). Complete your journey with a birds-eye view of the largely untouched region as you fly back over the Southern Alps and are welcomed to the incredibly blue Lake Wakatipu upon landing in Queenstown.

See the Shotover River from every angle as you take on the Shotover Canyon Combo - The ultimate Shotover experience! Perched high on the edge of a cliff sits the Shotover Canyon Swing, a purpose built swing that boasts over 70 jump styles and a 60m free-fall before swinging out in a 200m arc. The atmosphere is electric and the adrenalin rush guaranteed as you take the leap from the platform mounted 109m above the Shotover River. Then check out the canyon walls from water level at speeds of up to 85kms per hour on the world famous Shotover Jet. Feel the rush of wind in your hair as you whip past the rocky outcrops and spin 360 in the big red boats. Take to the skies on a roller coaster helicopter ride to see the Shotover River from above, before landing in the remote Skippers Canyon section of the river. Top it all off by taking on the white water as you raft down the rapids to end your Shotover adventure! Departing Edinburgh, you travel north-west for your first stop of the day at magnificent Stirling Castle*, one of Scotland’s most historically significant castles, sitting high on volcanic rock and offering wonderful views of the surrounding landscape. You will have time to visit the castle and learn of the exploits of key historic figures including William Wallace, Robert the Bruce and Mary Queen of Scots. With lots of interesting things to see and do here, the Stirling Castle experience is a must for any visitor to Scotland.  You then continue on, past medieval Doune Castle, to the pretty town of Callander, situated on the banks of the River Teith in Stirlingshire, where you will have a chance to stop to enjoy some lunch. From here we enter The Trossachs National Park, also known as “The Highlands in miniature” for its abundance of lochs, mountains and forests, and famous as the homeland of legendary outlaw, Rob Roy MacGregor.  You will then reach the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond, one of the prettiest and largest lochs in the whole of Scotland. Here you can enjoy an hour long cruise* taking in spectacular views of the loch’s many islands and the surrounding mountains. Alternatively, take a stroll through the picturesque loch-side conservation village of Luss, with its quaint houses, cafes and stunning views across the loch’s western shoreline. Mousquetaire de Richelieu By the Grand Carrousel, the wonderful French gardens lead you to the Imaginary World of La Fontaine. Then experience the Belle Epoque atmosphere of the Market Town in 1900. Le Bal des Oiseaux Fantômes Deep in the ancient forest, Puy du Fou’s natural surroundings become part of a unique show. From the birds of prey aviaries to Flower Valley, enjoy wandering through a world in which nature reasserts itself. Les Orgues de Feu The Puy du Fou is also the kingdom of children. They are fascinated by the shows and have fun in the Grand Parc’s games and entertainment, before the magic of the Organs of Fire.
