The Dungeon, a historical and theatrical attraction popular in Europe, opened their first ever North America attraction in San Francisco opening in the summer of 2014. The hysterically horrible engaging stories will take the visitor through 9 live actor led shows as they experience reenacted scenes from the colorful Gold Rush era to authentic tales about the Barbary Coast criminal gangs, Alcatraz, the Shanghai kelly boat ride and more. The ultimate live action expedition! Through a storytelling journey, vibrant sets, authentic costumes and detailed make-up, The San Francisco Dungeon sheds a whole new light on San Francisco’s rich and authentic history. San Francisco’s unique background makes it the perfect location for the launch of the first-ever North America Dungeons Attraction. Located in San Francisco’s historic Fisherman’s Wharf, this unique experience will highlight 200 years of San Francisco’s colorful past with dramatic and theatrical story storytelling. The San Francisco Dungeon will guide visitors through theatrical sets on a walk-through journey. Escape Alcatraz is now included in all tickets.

Facilities and Access Entrance and parking: The castle is reached on foot along a causeway from West Park slipway in St Helier. Visitors can either walk at low tide or catch the pirate-themed Castle Ferry (small charge applies) at high or low tide. Public parking is available in Patriotic Street, the Waterfront or in parking bays off Victoria Avenue. Buses and cycle routes: All bus routes terminate at Liberation Station which is a short walk away. Jersey cycle route 1 Refreshments: A coffee shop is on the premises – members receive 10% with their voucher (found in your voucher pack) Gift Shop: Jersey Heritage gift shops, selling gifts, souvenirs, books and toys are located at Elizabeth Castle and in the Castle Ferry kiosk. Go on a relaxing cycle tour of Barcelona and visit unique cultural sights such as the Museu d’Art Contemporani, in the Raval neighbourhood, which has its own Rambla with its own unique inhabitant, Botero’s ‘Cat’. The guide will tell you some curious anecdotes about the neighbourhood and will then take you to the plaça Reial, the plaça Sant Jaume, the charming plaça de San Felipe Neri, the majestic Cathedral, the Roman walls and the plaça del Rei, among many other landmark sights. Next, you’ll head down to the seafront and beaches where you’ll be able to stop, time permitting. You’ll visit the old harbour, the Port Vell, the Barceloneta district, the Olympic Marina and, on the way back, you’ll cycle through the Parc de la Ciutadella and stop at the Sagrada Família. And during the hot summer nights you’ll also be able to go on one of our night-time tours! Exploring the city by bike is a wonderful way to experience Barcelona day or night.

What do you think of looking for the waterfalls which generated the power to make Alcover’s mills operate for centuries? Following the pipes that carry water from the river to the mills we enter the Valley of the Glorieta, a wooded area with some impressive trees such as an oak with small leaf which you can find halfway. Following the sound of the river, you will reach the water. You’ll have to cross the Glorieta River jumping from stone to stone to reach the ruins of the hydraulic central- that provided light to Alcover and the Selva del Camp until the forties, and enjoy the views over the waterfalls. And if you are lucky and above all good observers, you’ll see hidden among the vegetation a rock in the form of an eagle. It is the famous "Eagle's Nest"
