These Forgefix Multi-Purpose Pozi Screws with countersunk heads have a zinc yellow passivated finish for increased durability. The screws are immensely popular and versatile, and used in all trades including joinery, electrical and plumbing. Also widely used in DIY applications. APPLICATIONSuitable for use with many materials including PVCu, Timber, Chipboard, MDF, and other similar types. The Zinc Yellow Passivation process of electroplating is similar to the 'Galvanised' and 'Zinc Plated' processes but with the addition of a yellow dye. It offers an aesthetically pleasing finish, whilst having excellent resistance to corrosion. The Pozidriv screw is similar in appearance to the classic Phillips cross-head, but in fact is very different. The Pozidriv has four additional points of contact, and does not have the rounded corners that the Phillips screw drive has. The biggest advantage it offers is that, when used with the correct tooling in good condition, it does not cam out, allowing great torque to be applied. The Pozidriv screw can easily be distinguished by a line embossed in the screw head at 45° to the slots for the driver. The countersunk head is designed to sink flush with substrates to leave a smooth surface finish. They have single threads, designed to offer higher pull out values and quicker insertion.Multi-Purpose Pozi Screw Countersunk ST ZYP 4.0 x 35mm Box 200
These heavy-duty toolboxes are ideal for use on the worksite, garage or around the home. They have a centre galvanised finish, this gives the toolbox a sturdy durable construction and is also rust-resistant, as are the two heavy-duty metal latches. They have a removable plastic tray which is ideal for smaller tools like screwdrivers, spanners etc, or tapes and fixings that can be found at a glance. The lid incorporates a saw groove for holding pipes and timber for cutting when there is no work bench available. The lid on has a honeycomb design to give it extra strength and durability, and the soft grip handle folds flat in to the lid when not in use.Dimensions: 662 x 293 x 222mm.
Stanley diagonal cutting pliers that can cut copper wire or aluminium. These are heat treated carbon steel forged pliers, with ground heat treated cutting edges that produce longer life, durability and accuracy when cutting. The Comfort Grip handles give more control when in use. With a polished head for precision appearance. Length: 150mm (6in).
The Arctic Crack-It Shock Freeze Release Spray releases seized and corroded parts through shock freezing. The freeze action breaks the corrosion seal and allows the penetrant to reach the corroded area, releasing the seized items in 1-2 minutes. Also helps to prevent future corrosion and is completely bio-degradable. Lowest Operational Temperature: -45°C.
These Lindstrom Diagonal cutting nippers have an oval head. They are produced from high performance ball bearing steel which is black oxidised for increased durability. The numerically controlled machine grinding guarantees edge and angle accuracy and contact, which increases tool reliability and consistency. The edges are precision induction hardened to 63-65 HRC. The handles have a return spring and are sleeved. Ideal for wire harness work, and standard printed circuit board assembly. Oval heads are the most common type of nipper head. It combines strength and durability, can withstand and distribute the impact of cutting and is utilised in a myriad of applications.Length (A): 125mm (5 in). Blade length (B): 16mm (0.63 in). Head width (C): 16mm (0.63 in). Head depth (D): 8mm (0.31 in). Tip width: (F): 1.6mm (0.06 in). Cutting capacity: 0.4-2.0mm. Cutting edge: Micro-bevel. The Micro-Bevel cut is designed to meet the requirements of the electronic assembly industry. Leads are ‘pinched’, allowing less altitude and a smaller overall surface area. Because of its design, it has a wide cutting range and variety of uses.
