Der Wein ist zu 80 Proz. für 18 Monate in grossen Fässern aus slawonischer Eiche und zu 20 Proz. für 6 Monate im Barrique ausgebaut und gereift. Er präsentiert sich mit reicher Frucht. Der ausgewogene Geschmack sowie das angenehm zartbittere Finale von aromatischer Länge unterstreichen den Bordeaux-Stil dieses vornehmen Roten.

Im Bukett konzentrierte Fruchtaromen von Himbeere und Pflaume sowie feine Lavendel- und Gewürzaromen Anis . Am Gaumen begleiten zarte Pfeffernoten die volle dunkle Frucht. Der Abgang ist angenehm warm und stoffig. Passt zu: gegrilltem und gebratenem Fleisch und kräftigen Ragouts.
