Tower Bridge Exhibition Over 100 years ago, the Victorians built a bridge that has become one of London's most famous landmarks. High level walkways were built to allow people to cross the Thames whilst the Bridge was lifted to let tall ships sail past - Tower Bridge Today these Walkways act as viewing galleries, giving visitors the most spectacular views across an ever changing London skyline. Walkways & Exhibition: Tower Bridge Unveils New GLASS FLOOR Across High-Level Walkways Launched in the West Walkway today, the glass floor offers visitors a never-seen-before view of London life, from 42 metres above the River Thames. Look down to spy road and pedestrian life whizzing over the Bridge while river vessels sail under it – and plan your visit in advance for the truly magical experience of the bascules being raised beneath your feet.  The glass floor measures 11 metres long by 1.8 metres wide and comprises of six panels weighing 530 kilograms each. It is made up of five thick layers and can hold the equivalent weight of an elephant and two taxis! The installation took a 20-strong team to construct it over a six week period.  The Walkways also offer stunning panoramic views of London while each of the 20 bridges featured in our popular and refreshed 'New Great Bridges of the World' display showcase a breath-taking feat of engineering. After learning about the history of the Bridge through animations and displays in the Towers, continue to the Victorian Engine Rooms for the beautifully maintained steam engines that were once used to power the bridge lifts. Visitors enter Tower Bridge Exhibition via the North Tower. They are then transported by lift to the top of the Tower (47 metres above the Thames) where they have a unique opportunity to see the Bridge’s steel skeleton from within. A short film explains the history and provenance of the Bridge and then there is the chance to admire the spectacular views – from both covered Walkways. On the east Walkway there are fantastic views of the Docklands and from the west Walkway you can see the new GLA building, the Tower of London, St Paul’s, the city, the Pool of London and Big Ben and the London Eye in the distance. Interactive computerised kiosks and graphic panels explain the significance of the views to visitors, as well as providing more information on the history and building of the Bridge. The interactive material and graphic panels are written in seven languages and an audio loop for the hard of hearing is also in place for the video show. There is another film to view in the South Tower before descending for the short walk to the historical Engine Rooms, included in your ticket price. Victorian Engine Rooms: These provide a fascinating insight into late 19th century engineering. Installed for the completion of Tower Bridge in 1894, these huge, and beautifully maintained, coal-driven engines were used to power the thousands of bascule Bridge lifts performed until 1976. Although lifts are now operated by electricity, the original steam engines are still in place. The Engine Rooms give visitors a chance to experiment with models demonstrating the technology behind the Bridge. There are also some amazing photographs of  TowerBridgeTthroughout its lifetime – including a revealing picture of the heavy steel structure of the Bridge as the stone cladding was installed over it.

Very near the Sagrada Família, you'll find an art-nouveau gem, the Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau. Designed by the architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner, it was built between 1905 and 1930. After housing the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau (one of Europe's oldest healthcare centres) for more than eight decades, a restoration project commenced on the old pavilions in 2009. This process has restored the beauty of one of the iconic works of Catalonia's home-grown art nouveau, modernisme. The tour begins in the exhibition space in the Sant Salvador Pavilion takes you on a journey throughthe history of medicine in Barcelona. The upper floor of the building concentrates particularly on the figure and work of Lluís Domènech i Montaner. Sant Salvador Pavilion marks the start of a recommended route around the outdoor spaces of the Art Nouveau Site that reproduce the garden city model designed in the early 20th century. You can also enter the Sant Rafael Pavilion and see its interior, moreover, you can take the underground tunnels communicating the various buildings and visit the most representative heritage spaces of the Administration Pavilion.

Follow the coast to reach Hendaye village situated at the mouth of Rio Bidasoa Hondarribia directly opposite to where we will move from the port of Hendaye in a small boat to cross the Bay. Once in Hondarribia we'll make a walking tour through its most emblematic and typical areas with its walled medieval area and castle of Charles V and their mansions and palaces as well as the Navy Area with its flower-filled balconies and rides, bars, terraces, restaurants and popular atmosphere. Free time for lunch. Our guide will recommend the best places to have lunch with a basis of Tapas or tasting menus at both restaurants closed as Terrazas. In the afternoon we will follow the route to San Sebastian where we will make a visit for its most interesting areas, avenues, bridges, Paseo de la Concha, etc... including the ascent of Mount Igeldo to finish with a walk through the typical party full of ancient history with its most emblematic buildings such as the Church of the Virgen del Coro, City Hall, Puerto Viejo, Aquarium, etc. Free time to enjoy the Bay and its magnificent views or enjoy one of their famous typical Tapas bar in the city. Return direct motorway to get to your hotel in Bilbao last afternoon.

Yellow Route The Yellow Route presents the key sights and top attractions of London including the Tower of London, St Paul’s Cathedral, London Eye and Marble Arch. Crossing the river four times, you are guaranteed some spectacular views of London’s stunning scenery along the Thames. The Yellow Route T2 offers multilingual commentary in 11 different languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Japanese, Portuguese, Mandarin, Arabic &Brazilian; Portuguese) and live guides on Yellow Route T1. The main departure point for this tour route is located at Coventry Street, Piccadilly Circus but you can board the bus at any stop along the route. Orange Route: The British Museum Tour The British Museum is the most popular attraction in London with over 6 million visitors per year. Todos a bordo del horrible ómnibus para dar una vuelta por la cara oscura de Londres. Los clásicos autobuses Routemaster han sido rediseñados para proporcionar a los pasajeros el primer servicio de autobuses espeluznantes de Londres. A bordo, los actores y los efectos especiales se combinan para crear el Tour más aterrador de la ciudad. Un conductor horripilante le proporcionará los comentarios de este siniestro espectáculo, revelándole palacios embrujados, tumbas sin nombre y muchos esqueletos en el armario de la capital. Tour en el Bus Fantasma - Compañía de Autobuses Necrópolis Tierra a la tierra... La compañía de autobuses Necrópolis empezó en el siglo XIX como un servicio privado de autobuses para funerales. Los vehículos Necrópolis o “Autobuses de cadáveres”, como era conocido por los londinenses, eran capaces de transportar a los difuntos, los portadores del féretro y hasta 50 plañideros (de pie) hasta el lugar del reposo final. Cada autobús tenía un conductor/plañidero principal a bordo y una sirena especial o 'silbato de luto' para avisar a los peatones del acercamiento del bus. El sonido del silbato hacia que los señores se quitaran el sombrero y bajaran la cabeza como muestra de respeto. Cenizas a las cenizas… El servicio regular funcionó hasta 1967, cuando un trágico incendio en la cochera de la compañía en el sur de Dulstead derrumbó el edificio y destruyó casi toda la flota de autobuses. Sólo un vehículo fue recuperado de las cenizas y fue guardado en un almacén durante 40 años. Ahora se ha restaurado a su diseño original y es utilizado por NECROBUS como un servicio turístico en el centro de Londres. Autobús a autobús... El autobús está pintado en el color tradicional de la compañía, el negro de medianoche. Los asientos del interior están dispuestos al estilo de un tren para dar mayor comodidad y para que los pasajeros puedan llorar abiertamente y dar el pésame. Entre los elementos decorativos hay lámparas y cortinas para ventanas, que siempre estaban pasadas si en el vehículo había que almacenar un ataúd durante la noche. Esto se basa en la superstición de que el espíritu del difunto podría ser atrapado por su propia imagen reflejada en el cristal, y  así sería incapaz de traspasar al otro mundo. También ayudó a mantener los cuerpos frescos en los meses de verano. Por favor, tenga en cuenta que: el Bus Fantasma no se responsabiliza de los objetos dejados en el autobús, los artículos personales se llevan a riesgo de sus propietarios y el Bus Fantasma no será responsable de los artículos dañados o perdidos. En el autobús no está permitido fumar, comer o bebidas que no sean agua embotellada. No hay aseos en el bus. El vehículo es un Routemaster de 1966 y no ha sido posible hacerlo accesible para sillas de ruedas.
