At 135 metres, the London Eye is the world's tallest observation wheel, with 40 kilometre panoramic views on a clear day. Colourful parties inside the capsule, time lapse of The London Eye day and night and a spectacular firework display all add up to an emotional and entertaining experience; the perfect prelude to an experience on The London Eye itself. Did you know that Christopher Columbus chose to disembark in Barcelona harbour when he returned from his voyage to America?. To commemorate the event, we suggest you visit the Monument dedicated to this illustrious figure. You'll be able to admire the sculptural ensemble around the base of the magnificent Corinthian-style iron column which has a lift inside that takes you all the way up to the viewing gallery at the top. When you get to the top, you'll be able to enjoy stunning 360º views. For instance, to the north, you'll see the Gothic Quarter with the bell towers of the cathedral, Santa Maria del Mar and La Mercè or the bustling Rambla. To the south, you'll see Mount Montjuïc, with the castle at the top. Montjuïc is also the site of museums, gardens, theatres and the Olympic Ring. If you look down, you'll see the Royal Shipyards, the Drassanes, which are home to the Museu Marítim. If you look east and follow the coastline, you'll be able to make out the modern Forum area with its characteristic photovoltaic roof and skyscrapers. Closer to you, the twin towers mark the entrance to the Olympic Marina. At your feet you'll see the old harbour, the Port Vell, and the industrial port. Finally, to the west, you'll see the Parc Natural de Collserola, the vast green "lung" that surrounds the city, with the Collserola Tower and Tibidabo Amusement Park at the top.

From the minute you reach the Six Flags’main entrance, you will step into a world of fun and thrills where adrenaline runs wild. Take your time to get to know all the park’s many different and stunning roller coasters. From the vertiginous heights of the wildly fast Superman el Ultimo Escape, to the twisted, twirling tracks of Batman the Ride, the variety of roller coasters in this park will take your senses to the limit. From atop all these rides, you will feel like the super heroes the rides are named after, flying way above the Mexican plains. Other breathtaking rides all adrenaline junkie must try out are the endearing Medusa and the wild Boomerang. Begin by screaming of fright – and end up screaming for more!  Children will also greatly enjoy a visit to Six Flags thanks to its assortment of roller coasters for kids, such as the thrilling Junior Roller coaster or the Tsunami. As well as the 48 rides and family attractions that compose Six Flags, you will also enjoy some of the parks popular international shows, like Batman Begins, the Stunt Show and the Magic Light Parade.   Please note: There are some extra activities available not included in the entrance fees such as: Go-karts, Van Helsing, Terminator X etc.

The magnificently situated Urquhart Castle, on the banks of Loch Ness, remains an impressive stronghold despite its ruinous state.  Once one of Scotland’s largest castles, Urquhart’s remains include a tower house that commands splendid views of the famous loch and Great Glen. Urquhart witnessed considerable conflict throughout its 500 years as a medieval fortress and its history from the 13th to 17th centuries was particularly bloody. Following Edward I’s invasion, it fell into English hands and was then reclaimed and lost again. In the 14th century, it figured prominently in the Scots’ struggle for independence and came under the control of Robert the Bruce after he became King of Scots.  In the 15th and 16th centuries, the castle and glen were frequently raided from the west by the ambitious MacDonald Lords of the Isles. The castle’s history and that of the noble families – Durward, MacDonald and Grant – who held it, is told in the exhibition and audio-visual display in the new visitor centre. The Centre features an outstanding array of medieval artefacts found at the castle.  Visitors can relax in the café and visit the shop with its local crafts. The visitor centre contains retail, interpretation area, audio-visual presentation and tearoom and toilets on one level. Stunning views of the loch can be obtained from visitor centre veranda.
