Explore the magic, beauty and wonder of San Francisco Bay at Aquarium of the Bay.  Your visit will take you through three main exhibit areas that display the amazing riches that lie beneath the surface of the San Francisco Bay and surrounding waters.  Aquarium of the Bay partners with The Bay Institute to protect, restore and inspire the conservation of San Francisco Bay and its watershed, from the Sierra to the sea. Their passion and their work are locally-focused, but have a broad impact that touches upon every major challenge facing our global environment. They focus on water, beginning at the heart—the very depths—of San Francisco Bay.  The facility boasts 300 feet of crystal clear acrylic tunnels holding 700,000 gallons of carefully maintained bay water that sustains approximately 20,000 animals, from octopuses to eight-foot native, sevengill sharks.  Visitors are also treated to mesmerising walls of jellies and a chance to touch bat rays, skates and “splash zone" animals. In their fifteen year history, over seven million guests, including more than 100,000 school children, have visited the Aquarium.   Anyone yearning to geek out inside a multimillion-dollar science museum with the added bonus of booze should head to Golden Gate Park on Thursdays for Nightlife at the California Academy of Sciences. Since 2009, the Academy has stayed open late once a week to give the 21+ crowd full run of the place, with an ever-changing series of themed events and several temporary bars spread throughout the gigantic building. Entertainment / Music Multiple DJs and/or live bands performing in a variety of styles tied to the night’s theme, from house to swing to everything else under the sun. One hundred thousand square-foot museum packed with incredible exhibits, aquariums, a replica of a rain forest, and the largest all-digital projection screen on the planet in the planetarium. We'll leave the hotel at around 09:30 and head for the fascinating Tzotzil Maya settlement of San Juan Chamula, famous for its unique religious practices blending Catholic and Maya beliefs. During our tour, we'll learn about the culture and traditions of this remarkable community. We visit first their atmospheric cemetery with its Maya crosses spread out across a hill. And from there we'll wander through the village to the main church of the community. Our next stop, San Lorenzo Zinacatan, is another Tzotzil-speaking community. This is one of the most colourful communities in the highlands, and this can be seen in the brilliant red, blue and purple clothing embroidered with large flowers worn by the local people. We'll visit the main church of the community and we'll also meet local people with the chance to buy some of their beautiful work. hen on the way back we we will go on a guided tour of the beautiful colonial city of San Cristobal de las Casas before arriving back at our hotel at around 14:30.

Siam Park es un parque acuático de visita obligatoria si está de vacaciones en Tenerife. El tour al Parque Xcaret concluye con el magnífico show nocturno ''Xcaret México Espectacular'', un recorrido por la música y bailes que deleita los sentidos de todos los visitantes. El parque ecológico también es hogar de cientos de especies de animales exóticos donde están bien cuidados y alimentados. Visite la Isla de los Jaguares en Xcaret y observe cómo este felino, el tercero más grande su especie, vive y se relaciona con sus compañeros. Todos aquellos que deseen admirar la fauna marina del Parque Xcaret sin meterse al agua, pueden disfrutar de la gran exhibición que se encuentra en el Arrecife de Coral en Xcaret. El Acuario de Xcaret contiene más de 5.000 organismos y 500 especies distribuidos en peceras que se alimentan directamente del agua de mar Caribe. Are there any age restrictions? Children are welcome on the tour, but please bear in mind that some children have a limited attention span and therefore a 3 hour tour may not be appropriate for them. Parents know their children best and should assess the situation individually. Since there is a lot of standing and walking please consider this when deciding whether the tours are appropriate for your child. Also, the tours require a certain level of physical stamina. For our walking tours, we are on our feet for approximately 3 hours. How physically fit do I need to be to enjoy this tour? Tours walk at an easy pace and cover approximatley 1 mile of walking. Our tours are generally appropriate for all ages and fitness levels, but please use your best judgment. Is smoking allowed on the tour? The tours maintain a no-smoking policy. Does the tour guide accept gratuities? Gratuities are greatly appreciated, although not mandatory. Are cameras allowed on the tours? Yes! In fact, we strongly encourage participants to take photos during the tour. However, we do not allow video cameras or tape recorders.

Take a behind the scenes tours to see how our animal hospital works or visit our theatre to watch footage of our team recuing and treating injured marine animals. You won’t want to miss Winter the Dolphin, the world’s most famous dolphin, and star of Dolphin Tale, which was even filmed even at Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Winter lost her tail in a crab trap, but is now healthy and swimming freely with a prosthetic tail. Winter’s incredible story has also been seen on Oprah, NBC Today Show, ABC’s Good Morning America and others. Winter may have lost her tail but she will capture your heart.
