Go on a relaxing cycle tour of Barcelona and visit unique cultural sights such as the Museu d’Art Contemporani, in the Raval neighbourhood, which has its own Rambla with its own unique inhabitant, Botero’s ‘Cat’. The guide will tell you some curious anecdotes about the neighbourhood and will then take you to the plaça Reial, the plaça Sant Jaume, the charming plaça de San Felipe Neri, the majestic Cathedral, the Roman walls and the plaça del Rei, among many other landmark sights. Along the way you will meet some of Australia’s favourite animals. At our first stop, Moonlit Sanctuary, you can cuddle a koala (**fee applicable) and hand feed kangaroos and wallabies. Enjoy lunch overlooking a billabong teeming with waterbirds before we make tracks to Phillip Island.  You will be dropped off at the Island Accommodation early afternoon and can explore the magical island coastline on your own at your leisure.  Next day we will come and pick you up early afternoon.   First stop on day 2 is historic Churchill Island. Down at Churchill Island take time to wander about the gardens surrounding the historic Amess House. Learn about the significance of this small island in the history of Victoria. Head over to the farm yards where you’ll get to see stockwhip cracking, sheep shearing and working dogs in action.  From here we’ll take you to the Koala Conservation Centre where you’ll get up close to koalas in their natural environment.  Next we head over to the home of the Little Penguins, Summerland Peninsula, but before we meet the stars of the show we’ll take a break at the Nobbies Centre.  Last but certainly not least is the world famous Penguin Parade. Here you’ll see hundreds of Little Penguins come ashore just after sunset, make their way across the beach and up into the sand dunes to their burrows. We will make convenient stops for walking and taking pictures at Plaza Mayor, Templo de Debod and Las Ventas Bullring, if the weather permits and always accompanied by our guide. It was constructed to house the Natural History Cabinet, by orders of King Charles III. However, the building's final purpose - as the new Royal Museum of Paintings and Sculptures - was the decision of the monarch's grandson, King Ferdinand VII, encouraged by his wife Queen Maria Isabel de Braganza. The national museum del Prado, opened to the public for the first time in November 1819. The Museum's first catalogue, published in 1819, included 311 paintings, although at that time its collection comprised just over 1,510 pictures from the various Reales Sitios (Royal Residences). The exceptionally important royal collection, which represents the foundation of the Museum's collection as we know it today, started to increase significantly in the 16th century during the time of Charles V and continued to thrive under the succeeding Habsburg and Bourbon Monarchs. It is down to them than nowadays we can contemplate in the Museum as greatest masterpieces as The Garden of Earthly Delights by Bosch, The Nobleman with his hand on his Chest by El Greco, Las​ Meninas by Velázquez and The Family of Carlos IV by Goya. Although you won’t have enough time to eat at the Boathouse Restaurant on the walking tour you can surely stop and grab something to eat afterwards. Once you have toured Cherry Hill, the tour guides will take you to the cultural landmark, the Bandshell, featured in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, I’m Not Rappaport, Mighty Aphrodite and Hair. This area was dedicated to John Lennon in 1985 after his death in 1980.
