No. Passes include admission to each attraction; no need to pay anything at the gate. Some attractions may offer upgrades or special exhibits for an additional fee. Do I need to choose my attractions in advance? Nope, choose as you go. The pass is good for any combination of the number of attractions you purchased. My child is under 3 years old. Can I get them a Washington DC Sightseeing Pass? Child Passes are recommended for children ages 3-12. Many attractions offer free admission for younger children. Please consult the attraction websites for more details. How do I activate my pass? Easy: simply visit your first attraction! Is the pass valid all day? You bet! Feel free to visit the attractions any time of the day as long as they are open or operating. How much will I save? Compare the price of the pass to the gate prices of the attractions you want to visit to see how much you can save. Many customers save 50%. We give you the flexibility to create your own itinerary and choose the attractions you want to visit depending on your interests. Do I need to make reservations to visit the attractions?  Attractions that require a reservation will display a symbol on the guidebook page. Some attractions require a credit card to hold a reservation. In these cases, your credit card will not be charged unless you do not show up for your reservation.  What’s the catch? There’s no catch. Washington DC Sightseeing Pass has a partnership with all of the participating attractions to make your visit to DC as memorable as possible and to help you save time and money. What happens if an attraction is closed or a tour is cancelled due to weather or other problem? While we do our best to ensure that all attractions are available, events happen that are out of our control. The great thing about a Washington DC Sightseeing Pass is that there are so many attractions to choose from. If an attraction is closed, or cannot be visited for some reason, we know you'll find a fun alternative in your guidebook!

THE DOWNTOWN LOOP The Downtown Loop is the best way to explore Lower Manhattan including popular neighborhoods such as the Flatiron District, Union Square, Little Italy, Chinatown, Soho & NoHo, Greenwich Village & the East Village, Chelsea and the Financial District. Wander around Wall St. to see the infamous Stock Exchange and charging bull, eat your way through Little Italy and Chinatown then shop till you drop at all the high end or boutique stores SoHo is famous for! You’ll also find the Brooklyn Bridge and access to our Brooklyn Loopand sightseeing cruise on the Downtown Loop. Home to some of New York’s most popular Museums, the Upper East & West Side are where you can go to get lostin history and the arts exploring the American Museum of Natural History, the Museum of the City of New York, the Guggenheim and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Take in a Jazz or Gospel performance up in Harlem and discover the largest Anglican Church in the world, the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. Washington National Cathedral & Georgetown Loop (Yellow Loop): The second largest cathedral in the United States is found in the District’s Northwest quadrant. Washington National Cathedral is a spiritual hub open to all and a stunning work of Gothic architecture featuring stained glass, ornate carvings and vaulted ceilings. Your tour continues in Georgetown, a picturesque neighborhood home to many colorful row houses and renowned Georgetown University. M Street, which runs through the neighborhood, is a mecca for shopping, dining, and nightlife. You can also hop off at Georgetown Waterfront Park to stroll along the promenade and rent a canoe or kayak! FAQ How long do I have to use my pass? You’ll have one day to use your pass, starting when you redeem your voucher at the CitySights DC Ticket Desk at Union Station in Washington, DC. What does unlimited hop-on, hop-off access mean? Can I get off anywhere?  With unlimited hop-on, hop-off access you can hop off the bus at any of the designated tour stops along the route, spend time walking around or exploring attractions, and get back on the bus at the same stop or any of the other designated stops listed on our map. You can do this an unlimited number of times within the specified hours for each tour. View tour stops and route map here.  You can not hop off at locations other than our designated hop-on, hop-off tour stops.  Do I need to specify a date of travel?  No. When you place your order, you will have to choose the day you believe you are going to use the voucher. However, we do understand that plans change so you have one year from the date of purchase to begin using your pass. After one year, it will expire. Please note, some of our partner attractions do require reservations – please refer to the tour details for more information.  Can I use my voucher to board the bus?  No. You must redeem your voucher at the Citysights DC Tickets Desk - Union Station Main Lobby, 50 Massachusetts Avenue, NE Washington, DC 20002. Where can I start the tour?  After redeeming your voucher at Union Station, you may use your ticket(s) to board a bus and start your tour at any of the hop-on, hop-off stops. To see the full list of stops, view the route map.  How long will I have to wait for the next bus? The double-decker buses run every 30 minutes (Red Loop), every hour (Purple Loop) and every 2 hours (Yellow Loop). Please be advised that times can vary due to traffic conditions. Is the tour commentary available in my language?  Narrated tours available in: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Hebrew, Portuguese, Mandarin Chinese, Korean and Russian.  How long is each tour?  Your tour length varies based on the route. There are 4 double-decker bus routes. The average length of stay is about 45 minutes to an hour. Top of the Rock is a three level observation deck that consists of the 67th, 69th, and 70th floors of 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Total surface area of all the decks together is approximately 55,000 square-feet (5,110 m2). The upper deck is 850 feet (260 m) above street level.   Are there restrooms located at Top of the Rock? Yes, restrooms can be accessed once inside the attraction. Can I visit the mezzanine level exhibit after I visit the observation decks? Due to crowd flow purposes, the pre-show exhibit can only be viewed before visiting the observation decks. Is there an outdoor viewing area? The 67th and 69th floors include outdoor terraces which feature fully transparent, safety glass. The 70th floor, the uppermost level, provides a completely open air, unobstructed 360-degree view of New York City and beyond. Is Top of the Rock weather dependent? Top of the Rock is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, despite weather conditions. In the case of inclement weather, portions of the deck may be closed for safety reasons. Guests will be advised about weather conditions and visibility prior to entry. Top of the Rock will not refund tickets in the case of inclement weather, however we will reissue your ticket for a future time and date. Is the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree and/or Skating Rink visible from the Top of the Rock? Unfortunately, no. However, both are easily accessible from the Concourse retail shop where guests exit the elevators after their visit. Is Top of the Rock wheelchair accessible? Top of the Rock is in full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. This includes full wheelchair accessibility.  Are strollers allowed? Strollers are permitted, however they must be collapsible. Can I bring tripods? What about professional video cameras? We do not allow tripods or professional video cameras on the observation deck. Are specific items prohibited from entering the building and/or observation deck? Items that present a danger to the safety of visitors and employees will not be permitted in the building or on the observation decks. Can I bring food and beverage to Top of the Rock? We do not allow food or beverages on the observation decks. Do you offer any special treatment for marriage proposals?
