La exposición muestra estas increíbles especies de una manera que pone de relieve su importancia para un ecosistema marino sano y hace hincapié en la importancia de la conservación de los hábitats costeros, como los manglares y las lagunas. Centro Interactivo Planeta Azul Esta nueva exposición es parte de la reciente reforma integral del acuario, una transformación para el siglo XXI. Esta área de exhibición presenta los serios desafíos a los que se enfrentan los océanos y muestra el liderazgo mundial del acuario en la búsqueda de soluciones con una combinación de pantallas interactivas, presentaciones representativas y exposiciones de pequeños animales vivos. Idiomas Hay guías del acuario en español, mandarín, alemán, francés, italiano y portugués de Brasil, y están disponibles en la recepción del acuario bajo petición. Las actividades prácticas destacan la increíble adaptación de los tiburones que los ha hecho los reyes del mar, y los tanques táctiles les permitirán ver (¡y sentir!) estas adaptaciones en acción. El Acuario de Nueva Inglaterra es el lugar perfecto para descubrir que estos magníficos predadores oceánicos son todavía más increíbles de lo que  pensaba. Hoy en día la nueva exposición cuenta con más de 2.000 animales, un arrecife de coral revitalizado y nuevos espacios de exposición en la parte superior. ​Tanque Oceánico Gigante ​Disfrute de las espectaculares vistas de 360 grados, del arrecife de coral de cuatro pisos rebosante de animales. En 2013 el icónico Tanque Gigante paso por una transformación de pies a cabeza que incluye ventanas con visión cristalina, un vibrante y revitalizado arrecife de coral con más de 1.000 peces, y el Yawkey Coral Reef Center en lo alto de la exposición. El colorido arrecife de coral caribeño es el hogar de tortugas, anguilas y cientos de peces tropicales de todos los tamaños. FAQ -Can you bring food and drinks into Naturlandia? Yes, you can without any inconvenience. Please note that there are 2 places where you can eat, a fast food restaurant at "Cota 1600" and a restaurant that offers a daily menu at "Cota 2000". -Do there have lockers? Yes, there are. Just ask any employee and they will tell you where they are. -Can I take my dog into the park? Yes, but they must be tied and keep watched. The entrance to Animal Park is prohibited for them. -I have a 365Tickets voucher, How Do I redeem it?  Please print the voucher and present it at "Cota 2000" ticket office.

Athlone Castle has a striking presence in the heart of the Co. Westmeath town which resonates with the 800 years of history it encompasses. It was owned at times by either the Dillons or by the O'Kellys, two rival families. It was also residence of the lord presidents of Connacht in the 16th and 17th centuries, the Jacobite central defence during the seiges of Athlone in the 1690s. It was a military barracks for almost 300 years. In 1967, the Old Athlone Society set up a museum in the castle and two years later it became a public monument.  The castle and visitor centre was reopened in November 2012 following extensive refurishments. Visitors to this exhibit can reach out and gently touch the backs of cownose rays. Atlantic rays and sharks as they swim gracefully through the crystal-clear water. The exhibit presents these incredible species in a way that highlights their importance in a healthy ocean ecosystem. It also emphasizes the valued of conserving essential coastal habitats, such as mangroves and lagoons. ATLANTIC HARBOR SEALS Visitors can enjoy the Atlantic harbor seals in their exhibit on the Aquarium plaza before buying admission tickets. Watch the seals swim, play and rest. Learn more about them and see some expert behaviors as they work with trainers during free training sessions throughout the day. BLUE PLANET ACTION CENTER This exhibit is part of the Aquarium’s recent top­-to-bottom, 21st century transformation. La sala de proyección de l'Hemisfèric tiene tres sistemas separados que proyectan hacia una pantalla cóncava de novecientos metros cuadrados. Estos sistemas son: cine en gran formato IMAX Dome, imagen digital en 3D y proyecciones digitales en la cúpula completa, con frecuencia sobre temas de astronomía.
