Da die Platte einfach gebogen und geschnitten werden kann, ist sie auch perfekt für nicht ebene Oberflächen geeignet. Die AP-2400 Platten können auch mit Kunststoffklebern angebracht werden. Das geringe Gewicht des Materials (im Vergleich zu anderen schalldämpfenden Materialien wie Mineralfaser und Verbund-PU) tragen zur Kostenersparnis bei dem notwendigen Aufbau für die Installation der Platten bei. Verschiedene Tests mit Testverfahren nach ISO 354 und die Evaluierung nach ISO 11654 der AP-2400 Platten haben eine Absorption der Klasse A mit einem durchschnittlichen Absorptionskoeffizienten von 1,00 ergeben. Die AP-2400 Platten sind außerdem wasserdicht und verlieren oder verändern auch in nassen oder feuchten Umgebungen nicht ihre Eigenschaften.
