Das unterirdische GARDENA Tropfrohr mit einem Durchmesser von 13,7 mm wird unsichtbar unterirdisch im Boden installiert und dient zur Bewässerung von Randbepflanzungen und Rasenflächen. Alle 30 cm sind im Rohr Tropfer eingebaut, die jeweils mit 1,6 l/h feindosiert bewässern. Die Tropfer sind selbstschließend, so dass diese nach Außerbetriebnahme nicht verschmutzen. Damit keine Wurzeln in das unterirdisch verlegte Rohr eindringen können, sind die Tropfer mit einer Wurzelsperre ausgestattet. Der Wasserdruck ist an jeder Stelle des Tropfrohres gleich, um eine gleichmäßige Bewässerung sicher zu stellen. Bei einem mittig angebrachten Basisgerät beträgt die maximale Tropfrohrlänge 200 m.
