Constructed from a supple and highly durable full-grain leather chassis to provide core abrasion resistance and durability. Advanced poly-textile reinforcements on palm and thumb provides superior grip on bike’s controls. Synthetic leather reinforced outer hand with padding on landing zones provide maximum abrasion resistance. Alpinestars developed ergonomic stretch insert between thumb and palm offers flexibility to vastly improve hand movement. Durable hard PU knuckle protection provides class-leading impact and abrasion protection, and incorporates heat stamped logo. Constructed with Alpinestars 100 per cent waterproof DRYSTAR® PERFORMANCE membrane construction technology which bonds all layers in glove, thereby affording a highly reduced material chassis to promote dexterity and sensitivity of bike controls. Palm, fingers and backhand padded with energy absorbing EVA foam for improved comfort and fit. Adjustable double Velcro closure on cuff and wrist keeps glove safely and securely in position. Touch screen compatible fingertip area on index for use with smartphones and GPS systems. Alpinestars’ patented finger-bridge prevents excessive finger roll and separation during impacts. The Lucid jacket is a direct descendant of our popular Enterprise jacket, albeit in a shorter version. The Lucid comes in a clean, predominantly black design and offers the base functionality of a touring jacket. Shell The unique method for manufacturing shells used by SCchuberth makes for low weight combined with optimum stability. Direct Fiber Processing is an innovation developed by Schuberth. It involves an endless glass fibre being cut into pieces by a robot and being blown into a mould. This preform is baked under high pressure in a heatable mould with the addition of a precisely defined quantity of resin to produce an exceptionally solid shell. The multi-part construction of the inner lining allows for outstanding force absorption, thereby enhancing safety. Inner lining The ShinyTex® inner lining is designed to ensure a secure and comfortable fit. The fabrics are fast-drying, washable and antibacterial. The seamless head pad guarantees outstanding wearing comfort. Good air circulation through multi-channel ventilation provides additional cooling for the wearer. Of course, the inner lining is Öko-Tex 100 certified, removable and washable. Ventilation A complex multi-channel ventilation system on the inside of the shell ensures a comfortable air flow rate.
