The tradition continues today in the Hall's Verdi Restaurant   The Royal Albert Hall Grand Tour is fully accessible.  Some time slots and/or dates are unavailable due to events taking place in the auditorium. The Royal Albert Hall was built to fulfil the vision of Prince Albert (Queen Victoria's consort) of a 'Central Hall' that would be used to promote understanding and appreciation of the Arts and Sciences and would stand at the heart of the South Kensington estate, surrounded by museums and places of learning. The Hall is a Grade I Listed building; and has been in continuous use since it was opened in March 1871. It was always conceived as a multipurpose building to host not only concerts of music but exhibitions, public meetings, scientific conversations and award ceremonies. It is a registered charity held in trust for the nation and is financially self sufficient, receiving no funding from central or local government. Downtown Tour Enjoy an entirely guided one hour tour of San Francisco's most famous sites on an original open top Double Decker Bus in the San Francisco Downtown area, with unlimited hop on and off privileges up to 24 hours from first use. Some of the tour highlights include: Fisherman’s Wharf with its lively waterfront and the famous sea lions, Union Square shopping mecca, Chinatown, North Beach with crooked Lombard Street, Ferry Building and the Farmers Market, Embarcadero, Financial District, and famous Pier 39. Official City Tour This tour departs from Fisherman’s Wharf, taking you along the Palace of Fine Arts and the Marina District, before visiting the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. At South Vista Point you can hop off the bus to walk across the 1.7 mile span of bridge, or you can explore the Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Center and the Presidio. The tour continues into Golden Gate Park, where are several stops throughout the park, so you can visit the California Academy of Sciences, the De Young Museum, the Japanese Tea Garden, or the Botanical Gardens. Continuing the tour through Haight Ashbury, you will experience the so called “Hippie District”, before we head into the Civic Center area with many architectural landmarks, such as our impressive City Hall, the Opera House, Symphony Hall, and the Public Library. From there, the tour continues to the central shopping district of San Francisco – Union Square. After about two hours we return to Fisherman’s Wharf, stopping at various waterfront locations, including Pier 39. Sausalito Tour Take this tour from South Vista Point to have the best views of the Golden Gate Bridge while driving across the bridge to North Vista Point. From there you have breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay (weather permitting), and on a nice day you can see the San Francisco skyline, Alcatraz Island and the Bay Bridge, making it a great photo stop for every visitor. The tour continues into Marin County and stops in charming Sausalito where you can hop off the bus, stroll around, shop, dine, visit various art galleries and enjoy a relaxing lunch by the waterfront. San Francisco Night Tour This live narrated 90 minute tour of San Francisco shows you the most vibrant neighborhoods of the city! With spectacular views from the top of an open top Double Decker bus, the tour covers all major sites of San Francisco and visits the most popular areas, such as Fisherman’s Wharf, Union Square, Financial District, the Embarcadero, Chinatown, North Beach, and Nob Hill with its impressive Grace Cathedral. ALCATRAZ Tour (need to be pre-booked with a specific date!) A tour to Alcatraz Island will be added to your 3-day Hop-On Hop-Off Tour, including a round-trip ferry from San Francisco to “the Rock.” At this infamous prison island, you will enjoy an award-winning audio tour of the prison cellblock (available in various languages). The self-guided tour gives you the flexibility to explore Alcatraz on your own pace. The departure time for the ferry to Alcatraz will be provided to you upon redeeming your voucher.

What time is best to visit? It's a question we're often asked, and the truth is that there is no best time to visit the Sydney Tower Eye. Whether it's bright sunshine, overcast, windy, night or even foggy, there's always something to see. Sunset is our busiest time of day, so if you want to catch an amazing sunet, be sure to arrive at least 45 minutes before sunset. 

Everyone remembers where they were on September 11, 2001. An event that shook the world, the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center changed the path of recent history in a way we still see every day. Visit Ground Zero to gain a deeper understanding of 9/11, the affect it had on the city (and the world!) and the long struggle undergone in New York City to move forward from that day.  With an expert local guide, you’ll explore not just the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, but the areas and landmarks around the World Trade Center that featured so poignantly in news reports after the attacks. Traveling in small groups, you’ll visit St. Paul’s Chapel, where friends and families gathered to hear news of their loved ones, and where handmade prayers and memorials still lie.  At Brookfield Place (previously known as the World Financial Center) you’ll learn about the economic effects of the attack and the struggle to rebuild afterwards. You’ll visit the Eleven Tears Memorial, a touching and personal memorial, which commemorates the 11 American Express employees that died in 9/11. The Winter Garden is another must-see on Vesey Street. You may have missed it on your own, but with a local guide leading the way, you won’t miss a beat.  After that we’ll head for Ground Zero, to see the stunning 9/11 Memorial Pools, each one built in the footprint of one of the twin towers, and inscribed with the names of all those who perished in the attack. Your guide will take this time to give you a more personal account of the tragedy that unfolded here, taking you to the Fireman’s Memorial and the Survivor Tree to tell you the incredible stories of courage and loss that unfolded right where you stand.  The last stop on our tour is one we’ll let you manage on your own. The 9/11 Museum is a very well curated space, with artifacts salvaged from the event on display, alongside countless personal stories. It’s a very moving visit, best taken in at your own pace in silence. We still have one last perk though – we’ve pre-reserved your museum tickets, so you’ll skip long lines to gain immediate access.
