Die JBL SRX812 ist ein multifunktionaler PA Lautsprecher, der sowohl als Frontsystem als auch Bühnenmonitor eingesetzt werden kann. Typische Anwender sind PA-Verleiher, professionelle Bands oder Festinstallationen mit hohen Pegelanforderungen. Als Front PA-System bietet die JBL SRX812 einen ausgeglichenen, harmonischen Frequenzgang, der auch für Fullrange-Wiedergabe geeignet ist. Für stark bassbetonte Wiedergabe eignet sich der JBL SRX818S Subwoofer als Ergänzung. Die JBL SRX812 ist mit dem neuen JBL 2272 Tieftöner bestückt, der durch seine Doppelschwingspule einen sehr kräftigen und präzisen Antrieb besitzt. Der ebenfalls leistungsstarke Hochtontreiber 2432H mit 3\" Schwingspule und 90° x 50° Horn überzeugt durch klare Höhen und einen weiten Frequenzbereich. Dies ist speziell für die durchsetzungsstarke Wiedergabe als Bühnenmonitor von Bedeutung. Je nach Anwendung ist die Betriebsart von \"passiv\" auf \"bi-amp\" konfigurierbar. Der Anschluss erfolgt über einen der beiden NL4 Anschlüsse, die in der Belegung von 1+/- auf 2+/- ebenfalls konfigurierbar sind. Dies ermöglicht die volle Auslastung von 4-pol Speakon Kabeln sowie eine einfache, verwechslungssicher Systemverkabelung. Die JBL SRX812 kann sowohl auf einem Stativ gestellt als auch geflogen werden. Hierzu hat der Lautsprecher 12 M10 Montagepunkte. Das Gehäuse besteht aus 18 mm Multiplex und ist mit JBLs DuraFlex-Lackierung überzogen. Über die Audio Architect Software stehen Presets für unterschiedliche DSPs und Endstufen wie Crown XTi, I-Tech HD oder dbx DriveRack 360 zur Verfügung. Die JBL SRX 812 ist unter der Modellbezeichnung JBL SRX812P (powered) auch mit einem intergrierten DSP-und Ampmodul als aktiver Lautsprecher erhältlich.
