Der PRX415M ist mit 21 kg ein leichter, multifunktionaler Lautsprecher, der sowohl Monitoranwendungen als auch Frontbeschallungen gerecht wird. Die 15\" Tieftonbestückung ermöglicht druckvolle Fullrangewiedergabe ohne zusätzlichen Subwoofer. Aufgrund des doppelten Hochständerflansch (nur PRX415M, schwarz) und den M10 Montagepunkten ist er gleichermaßen für den mobilen als auch stationären Einsatz geeignet. Sein Abstrahlbereich beträgt 90° x 50°. Die Dauerbelastbarkeit des passiven 2-Weg Systems liegt bei 300 Watt (Peak 1.200 Watt). Das Gehäuse ist aus stabilem Multiplex-Holz gefertigt und mit JBLs dauerhafter DuraFlex-Lackierung überzogen. Das Frontgitter ist zweilagig ausgeführt und schützt die Komponenten wirkungsvoll vor mechanischen Einwirkungen. In Kombination mit dem PRX418S kann der PRX415M für stark basslastige Wiedergabe auf einer Stativstange ideal als Satellit betrieben werden.
