Die 4-Corner-Modelle sind an beiden Achsen links und rechts mit Luftfedern ausgestattet. Unser Aerosus Kompressor ist für 4-Corner-Modelle aus den Baujahren 2006 bis 2013 vorgesehen. Der fabrikneue Kompressor ist modular gebaut, montiert und wird fertig für den Einbau geliefert. Das zwingend zu wechselnde Relais ist im Lieferumfang enthalten und den Kompressor finden Sie vorne rechts im Motorraum.
Funktionsweise und Fahrmodi
Mercedes-Benz hat der R-Klasse die Fahrwerksmodi Sport und Comfort zur Verfügung gestellt. In beiden Modi steuert die elektronisch geregelte AIRMATIC Control das Fahrzeugniveau. Dazu ist das Luftfahrwerk mit dem adaptiven Dämpfungssystem (ADS) ausgestattet. Laden Sie mehr zu oder benutzen Sie einen Anhänger, stellt die Luftfederung das Fahrzeugniveau entsprechend ein und senkt Ihr Fahrzeug ab oder hebt es an. Unser Kompressor ersetzt das für das Funktionieren der Luftfederung notwendige Originalteil. Es ist uns sehr wichtig, Ihnen ein auf Langlebigkeit und Qualität geprüftes Produkt anbieten zu können. Bauteile und Zubehör
Unser Aerosus Kompressor hat eine bauraumoptimierte Größe. Er besteht aus dem Druckgehäuse, in dem die Luft komprimiert wird. Daneben ist eine Lufttrocknereinheit mit Quick-Release-Funktion (Schnellentlüftung) verbaut, welche die Umgebungsluft vor der Einspeisung in die Luftfederung entfeuchtet. Angetrieben wird unser Kompressor durch einen starken Elektromotor.
Das mitgelieferte Relais muss zwingend gewechselt werden, da Relaisdefekte oft eine Schadenursache für Kompressoren darstellen. Ansonsten sind diese kaum fehleranfällig, solange sie in einem „gesunden“, dichten Luftfahrwerk eingesetzt sind.
Fehlererkennung leicht gemacht
Sollte bei Ihrem Fahrzeug eine Luftfeder undicht sein, steht es schief. Der Kompressor läuft lange um ausreichend Druckluft in das Luftfahrwerk zu pumpen, schließlich überhitzt er oder wird im Inneren nass, oft auch zuletzt mit lauten Poltergeräuschen. Das Fahrzeug senkt sich über Nacht auf der Hinterachse ab, wenn die Niveauregulierung defekt ist. Ist der Kompressor defekt, kann das Fahrzeugniveau nicht gehalten werden. Es steht dann nicht mehr in der Waage. Die Niveauregulierung pumpt nicht hoch und der Kompressor für die Niveauregulierung muss ausgetauscht werden.
