Fünf Weinberge in unterschiedlichen Gebieten des Napa Valley haben ihre Trauben zu diesem klassischen Napa-Cab beigesteuert. Separat geerntet, wurde das Lesegut auf dem Weingut selektiert und sorgfältig vinifiziert. Anschliessend wanderte der Wein dann - nach Herkunft getrennt - für 20 Monate zu 80 Proz. in französische Barriques und zu 20 Proz. in amerikanischen Barriques. Das Resultat ist ein von Brombeeren, Cassis, Schwarzkirsche, Pfefferminze und Kakao geprägter, körperreicher und ausbalancierter Cabernet Sauvignon mit seidigem, sehr gut eingundenem Tannin und einem langen, eleganten Schlussakt.
