These Forgefix General Purpose Pozidrive Screws with Countersunk heads are zinc plated for increased durability. They are an extremely popular general purpose screw, and suitable for use in and with many materials. APPLICATION:Ideal for use in many ironmongery, electrical and plumbing applications. Can be used with various screw cover caps. Zinc coatings prevent oxidation of the protected metal to create a longer lasting finish. It does this by forming a barrier and by acting as a sacrificial anode if this barrier is damaged. Zinc oxide is a fine white dust that (in contrast to iron oxide) does not trigger a breakdown of the substrate’s surface integrity as it is formed. The zinc oxide, if left intact, can act as a barrier to further oxidation, in a way similar to the protection afforded to aluminium and stainless steels by their oxide layers. The Pozidriv screw is similar in appearance to the classic Phillips cross-head, but in fact is very different. The Pozidriv has four additional points of contact, and does not have the rounded corners that the Phillips screw drive has. The biggest advantage it offers is that, when used with the correct tooling in good condition, it does not cam out, allowing great torque to be applied. The Pozidriv screw can easily be distinguished by a line embossed in the screw head at 45° to the slots for the driver. The countersunk head is designed to sink flush with substrates to leave a smooth surface finish. They have twin threads, which enable an easy start when driving. Ideal for sensitive workpieces and right angles. The large, perfectly parallel jaw faces are characteristic of the original BESSEY K-body clamp. They allow easy clamping and spreading of sensitive surfaces and right angles. Also round and pointed workpieces. And the best thing is: thanks to their extra-large contact surfaces, the original BESSEY K-body clamp are universally applicable even behind and to the side of the high-quality profiled rail. This allows you to clamp in locations that conventional screw clamps are unable to reach. That's guaranteed! The K-body clamp holds workpieces exactly parallel. Parallel jaw faces with extra-large contact surfaces.Clamping of various shapes, along the whole length of the rail.Universally applicable.Light and easy-to-handle.No need for tools for switching between clamping and spreading. Your benefits at a glance:1 Parallel jaw faces. The large, planar jaw faces made from impact and fracture-resistant reinforced polyamide are exactly parallel. For gentle clamping of a very wide range of different shapes over the entire length of the rail, without spacers. 2 High-quality profiled rail. The BESSEY hollow profile rail from our own drawing plant has been especially optimised for clamps. The profile acts as a reliable reinforcement against torsional forces, while the serration prevents the clamp from slipping. 3 Removable end stop. The end stop made from impact-resistant polyamide also gives the clamp added support. It can be removed without any tools, to allow the lower arm to be quickly turned around and used for spreading. The Bessey UK30 Uniklamp has the following specification: Clamping Force: up to 1,500N.Opening 600mm.Throat Depth: 80mm.Rail: 20 x 5mm.Weight: 0.93kg.
These Forgefix Round Head Nails are multi-purpose nails, for use with both soft and hard timber materials. They are galvanised for increased durability.Available in standard sizes, from 25mm to 150mm. APPLICATION:These nails are the most popular type of nail, used in many joinery and construction applications. Galvanisation is process of applying a protective zinc coating to steel in order to prevent rusting. Zinc coatings prevent corrosion of the protected metal by forming a physical barrier, and by acting as a sacrificial anode even if this barrier is damaged.Round Head Nail Galvanised Finish 100mm Bag of 500g
These Forgefix Masonry Anchor Projection Bolts have a Zinc Yellow Passivated finish for increased durability and resistance to corrosion. They have a tough and reliable construction to cover most heavy-duty fixing applications. The four-way expansion shield offers extremely strong and secure anchorage, and the specially manufactured retaining spring ensures encapsulation of the wedge during expansion. Projection bolts offer easier fixture removal or repositioning due to the bolt remaining in the shield. APPLICATION:Ideal for securing reinforcement wall plates, lighting supports, guy ropes and bracketry.Ensure the correct socket drive or spanner is used to ensure accurate installation. When sizing a Masonry Anchors it is most important to know the depth of the material that you are fixing.Eg: Size M610: The 'M6' is the thread size of the bolt. The '10' denotes the maximum thickness of material it will fix. The Zinc Yellow Passivation process of electroplating is similar to the ‘Galvanised’ and ‘Zinc Plated’ processes but with the addition of a yellow dye. It provides a coating that is aesthetically pleasing, and which offers excellent resistance to corrosion.Masonry Anchor Bolt Projecting Zinc Yellow Passivated M12 x 30 Bag 5
