Verschiedene Tests mit Testverfahren nach ISO 354 und die Evaluierung nach ISO 11654 der AP-2400 Platten haben eine Absorption der Klasse A mit einem durchschnittlichen Absorptionskoeffizienten von 1,00 ergeben. Die AP-2400 Platten sind außerdem wasserdicht und verlieren oder verändern auch in nassen oder feuchten Umgebungen nicht ihre Eigenschaften.
