Two-headed animals, shrunken heads and massive scrap metal sculptures will amaze and delight you as you roam through 2 full floors of odd exhibits. And finally, you can’t leave New York without fully experiencing the city’s most iconic attraction: the Empire State Building. Inside the skyscraper, check out the newly renovated Art Deco lobby, the sustainability and historical exhibits, and free self-guided multimedia tour. Then, ascend 1,050 feet above the streets to the 86th floor observatory deck, where you’ll have 360-degree views of the city skyline and beyond. Departing Glasgow you will travel north-west before making your first stop on the ‘bonnie banks’ of Loch Lomond, one of the prettiest and largest lochs in the whole of Scotland. Here you can enjoy an hour long cruise* taking in spectacular views of the loch’s many islands and the surrounding mountains. Alternatively, take a stroll through the picturesque loch-side conservation village of Luss, with its quaint houses, cafes and stunning views across the loch’s western shoreline.  You will then travel on for some lunch in the small village of Aberfoyle, nestled in the heart of the beautiful Trossachs National Park, just below the Highland faultline. After lunch you continue your journey of exploration through the Trossachs - Scotland’s first national park, known as ‘the Highlands in miniature’ for its abundance of lochs, mountains and forests and the homeland of legendary outlaw, Rob Roy MacGregor.  Your last stop of the day is the magnificent Stirling Castle*, sitting high on volcanic rock, offering wonderful views of the surrounding landscape. You will have time to visit the castle and learn of the exploits of key historic figures including William Wallace, Robert the Bruce and Mary Queen of Scots. Penguin Beach The exhibit’s 1200 sq metre pool is four times bigger and three times deeper than the Zoo’s old penguin pool and will hold 450,000 litres of water. Our large demonstration area turns feeding time in to an even bigger spectacle than before. Penguin Beach Live will feature twice daily feeds where visitors can watch the birds diving for their food. Penguin Beach will be a breeding facility for colonies of Humboldt, macaroni, black-footed and rockhopper penguins and will include a special penguin nursery. This will include a chick incubation unit and a pool where the youngsters can learn how to swim. Butterfly Paradise ZSL London Zoo’s Butterfly Paradise exhibit features species from several major regions including Africa, South-east Asia and Central and South America. It gives visitors the chance to experience the amazing world of these animals in a natural setting with no bars. Interactive features and educational activities will appeal to visitors from all walks of life. Gorilla Kingdom highlights the threats faced by these majestic creatures in the wild. ZSL works to conserve and protect them, and this exhibit marks an important development in awareness and support for their plight.
