Geweihe und Knochen wurden genutzt, um die Gruben zu graben die die Steine halten. Moderne Techniken der Archäologie und eine Reihe von jüngsten Grabungen halfen dabei neue Theorien über die Steine zu formulieren, aber ihr letztendlicher Zweck bleibt ein faszinierendes und bleibendes Mysterium.   Hinweis für Senioren und Studenten: Das Personal in Stonehenge bittet darum dass alle Personen die Voucher mit Studenten- oder Seniorenermäßigung haben, auch einen gültigen Ausweis vorlegen. Dies geschieht um unnötige Verwirrung oder jegliche Missverständnisse zu vermeiden wenn Sie bei Ankunft nach einem Nachweis gefragt werden.

Well it all started with with the monks. Irish Whiskey History originated around the time of the 11th Century and it is believed that Irish Monks brought this technique of distilling perfumes back to Ireland from their travels through North Africa. This tour runs daily at 4pm, 5pm and 6pm. Please arrive 15 minutes before your intended tour.

Then you  can try one of the latest water sports of paddle boarding, either stand up, or, if you prefer, you can kneel on the board as you look down into the waters at the many fish swimming beneath you. The adventure continues with kayaking and exploring the coves with your helpful guide who will help you get the most from the tour. You will get to enjoy a light snack and drinks before heading back to your hotel and all you need to bring is: swimwear, a change of clothes, sunsreen, a camera and a very big, sense of adventure! 

Anyone yearning to geek out inside a multimillion-dollar science museum with the added bonus of booze should head to Golden Gate Park on Thursdays for Nightlife at the California Academy of Sciences. Since 2009, the Academy has stayed open late once a week to give the 21+ crowd full run of the place, with an ever-changing series of themed events and several temporary bars spread throughout the gigantic building. Entertainment / Music Multiple DJs and/or live bands performing in a variety of styles tied to the night’s theme, from house to swing to everything else under the sun. One hundred thousand square-foot museum packed with incredible exhibits, aquariums, a replica of a rain forest, and the largest all-digital projection screen on the planet in the planetarium.
