Scarborough SEA LIFE & Marine Sanctuary invites you this year to explore the magical re-creation of the most amazing natural wonder in the world, the awe-inspiring Great Barrier Reef. Discover an array of tropical sharks, beautiful rays and colourful coral beneath the ocean surface. Turtle Sanctuary: Visit our brand new refuge for endangered freshwater turtles, the latest in a Europe-wide network of breeding facilities for these strange and exotic animals… many of which have been pushed to the brink of extinction. Our seal hospital is busy all year round caring for sick and injured seal pups until, whenever possible, they are well enough to be returned to the wild. Other highlights include an incredible otter sanctuary, penguin sanctuary and a whole host of other incredible marine creatures. Informative talks and feeding presentations throughout the day make this a memorable day out for the whole family. Restaurant: Indoor: Relax in our café where a selection of hot and cold food is available. We also offer a kids meal with a free gift. Hot food is served from 11 am until 4pm (3pm in winter) Outdoor: From Easter to the end of October you can relax at the outdoor themed seating area and take in the superb views over the North bay.
