Ocean Safari.…where the rainforest meets the reef! Half Day - TURTLE TRIPPER ADVENTURE Ocean Safari offers an exhilarating ride to snorkel the pristine untouched Great Barrier Reef off the Daintree Coast at Cape Tribulation. This half day eco tour visits two different snorkel destinations, each with an extraordinary array of marine life and coral species. After a fast 25 minute ride, guests are ready to snorkel two fabulous locations at Mackay and Undine Reefs. On most days, the rainforest can be seen along the mainland beach whilst snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef alongside sea turtles, which are found in abundance swimming over reefs full of colourful coral, along with myriads of tropical fish, eagle rays, giant clams and starfish. The tour begins at Cape Tribulation beach where guests board the vessel bound for the tropical waters of the Great Barrier Reef. The Ocean Safari vessel takes a maximum of 25 passengers allowing guests to experience tropical paradise and the pleasure of a small group. The vessel is based on the original design of a rescue craft and is a rigid inflatable boat driven by 700hp engines. Your next stop will be at the village of Prades and here you will have 1 hour 15 minutes to stroll around the village and take a break for lunch. You can bring your own packed lunch and have a picnic or you can buy a menu of 3 courses and a drink for just 12 euros, 2 euros less than the normal price. You will notice you are surrounded by the red colour of the sharp stones used to build the walls, the church and many of the houses. In the Plaza Mayor, you will see the Spherical renaissance fountain, where once a year it is filled with cava and the locals spend the day and night drinking from it. You can also see the Gothic Church of Santa Maria. Then onto another picturesque village, Siurana, where you will be taken back in time as you walk on the cobbled streets and pass the old stone houses. Here there is a small shop where you can but local produce, ice creams and postcards. There are spectacular views of the mountains and surrounding landscapes and you can look down to the lake of Siurana which will be your next stop. This really is one of the most beautiful villages you could hope to visit. Your last stop will be to the water for another dip or swim and a good chance to cool off. Then, after a great day out you will be taken back to your hotel and you will be given a present of a bottle of wine to take back with the rest of the lovely memories you will have. 

The old port in Fira is accessible only: By cable car: It is perfectly safe, it consists of 6 wagons and has capacity of 6 persons per wagon. During high season (April-October) it runs every 20 minutes. Single tickets cost €5 for adults and €2.50 for children. On foot: You would need to walk down the famous 600 steps of the traditional road that connects the old port with the town of Fira. The descend takes about 20-30 minutes, depending on your physical condition. By donkey: The donkeys used to be the traditional transportation way of the island. They go up and down to the old port of Fira frequently. A single ride costs around €5 per person and takes about 20 minutes. Most people prefer to take the donkey on their way up.

ITINERARY: Pick up at your hotel to depart to My Tho. Upon arrival, we will take a boat ride along the river, viewing stilt houses and fruit plantation along the banks. Visit fishing villages or floating fish farms at My Tho. Proceed to Tortoise Island and have lunch in an orchard. Enjoy a boat ride through Tan Thach canal to Ben Tre, cruising under the shadow of water coconut trees and stop for visiting some families to get closer to their rural lifestyle and research their family business. Lunch at local restaurants between visits. After walking through fruit gardens and villages, we will come back to the boat and return to Saigon by car.

If you don't want to start your bus journey in the midday sunshine then why not take cover for a while and hop-off at Bus Stop 1, at Multicentro, one of the main shopping malls in Panama, with shops that fit everyone's tastes! If you fancy your chances then you can even visit the casino there! Hop-off at Bus Stop 2 and take a wander around the grounds of the famous Parque Urraca. Surrounded by trees and greenery also with a great view of the city, this park is the perfect place to stop and unwind! If you love the natural surroundings then be sure to hop-off at Miraflores.  You can check-in at the visitor centre to find out lots of exciting information and watch the boats pass the lock. Or why not take in the views of the Miraflores Lock up close and take a walk down the Panama Canal. This engineering marvel is a fifty-mile waterway that has been operating since 1914 and transports ships from sea level to 85 feet via a series of gravity-powered locks!  Next on the agenda at Bus Stop 5 is Biomuseo, the Biodiversity museum created by the famous Frank Gehry. The explosive colours of its exterior makes it very hard to miss! We'll take you straight to the Flamenco Island too where you can enjoy a fabulous walk along the marina and take in the stunning view of the skyline.
