Home to over 10,000 aquatic animals, including one of the world’s largest Saltwater Crocodiles residing in the state-of-the-art Croc Lair exhibit, SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium takes you on an interactive adventure from the depths of the ocean to the icy waters of Antarctica. The stunning new Croc Lair Exhibit (opening Sept 21, 2013) is just one of the 12 new zones of discovery at SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium, where you can marvel at the world’s only display of Elephant Sharks in Bay of Rays, be mesmerised as you experience a rainbow of colours at Seahorse Pier and explore a world unlike any other and marvel at the majestic King and cheeky Gentoo penguins in Penguin Playground.   With interactive animal encounters, iconic state-of-the-art displays, animal feeds and diver presentations, SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium is an excellent, educational and completely engaging experience.

Ticket Details - Customers must print their confirmation vouchers/Tickets and take it with them. - You will then need to take the voucher to the entrance to gain entry to the Attraction. Purchasers will then be given an allocated time within 45 minutes of their arrival to return to the attraction, or a later time of yout choice, subject to availability. - All Merlin Attractions reserve the right to alter, close or remove details/exhibits without prior notice - A tour of Shrek’s Adventure can hold a maximum of 40 people, if your group contains more than 40 people they will be split across 2 tours. Height restrictions; a) The magic bus – minimum height to ride is 0.9m - Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or over. - Merlin reserves the right to change and alter the height restrictions and age limits at any time and for any reason. - The attraction is wheelchair accessible. The bus ride will only be accessible to guests who are mobile enough to get on the bus. There is a maximum of 2 wheelchair users allowed in the attraction at any one time. Guests with a disability pay the standard price and their carer is free of charge. - Unfortunately childrens pushchairs are not allowed in the venue.  London Aquarium The SEA LIFE London Aquarium is home to one of Europe’s largest collections of global marine life and the jewel in the crown of the 28 SEA LIFE attractions in the UK and Europe. Situated in the heart of London, the experience takes visitors on an immersive and interactive journey along the Great Oceanic Conveyor. The mysterious experience, spread over three floors, starts by taking a submarine style lift to the depths of the Atlantic Ocean. Along the journey, a stunning glass tunnel walkway offers guests an unforgettable experience by strolling underneath a Tropical Ocean. There is plenty of interaction along the way, from feeding the stingrays and watching diving displays to touch pools and discovery zones. Other stars of the show include green turtles, seahorses, octopus, zebra sharks and the ever popular clown fish. Crocodiles to take up residence in SEA LIFE London Aquarium! Crocodiles, Piranhas, a family of Poison Arrow Frogs and a host of exotic aquatic creatures will be taking up residence in an entirely new Rainforests of the World area at the SEA LIFE London Aquarium this Easter. Rainforests of the World will totally replace the existing rainforest area and provide a snapshot into the vulnerable eco-systems of Malaysia, West Africa and South America. In an immersive journey across three continents guests will get up close and personal with some of the rainforests’ most famous and feared residents. A pair of 6 ft West African Dwarf Crocodiles will be just snapping distance away in a specially created wetland habitat mirroring their African home. The family of highly toxic Poison Arrow Frogs will provide a kaleidoscope of colour, but watch out for the alluring yellow Golden Dart Frog, the most lethal of them all. Continuing the small but deadly theme is one of Europe’s biggest collections of Piranha fish famed for their flesh eating frenzies. The new experience is the latest development in the rejuvenation of the attraction which was transformed into the SEA LIFE London Aquarium last year and its March 2010 completion will mark the first anniversary of its re-opening in Easter 2009. As well as the exciting new Rainforests of The World, the SEA LIFE London Aquarium is home to thousands of marine creatures from every part of the world including 46 sharks, and boasts some breathtaking features including a stunning tropical glass tunnel walkway and a nerve testing Shark Walk finale, plus an ongoing programme of interactive family friendly activities. Tower Bridge Over 100 years ago, the Victorians built a bridge that has become one of London's most famous landmarks. High level walkways were built to allow people to cross the Thames whilst the Bridge was lifted to let tall ships sail past - Tower Bridge Today these Walkways act as viewing galleries, giving visitors the most spectacular views across an ever changing London skyline. Walkways & Exhibition: Visitors enter Tower Bridge Exhibition via the North Tower. They are then transported by lift to the top of the Tower (47 metres above the Thames) where they have a unique opportunity to see the Bridge’s steel skeleton from within. A short film explains the history and provenance of the Bridge and then there is the chance to admire the spectacular views – from both covered Walkways. Together with far-reaching views of East London, the walkway will be bolstered with a further 20 revered bridges in the extended popular display, ‘Great Bridges of the World’. On the east Walkway there are fantastic views of the Docklands and from the west Walkway you can see the new GLA building, the Tower of London, St Paul’s, the city, the Pool of London and Big Ben and the London Eye in the distance. Interactive computerised kiosks and graphic panels explain the significance of the views to visitors, as well as providing more information on the history and building of the Bridge. The interactive material and graphic panels are written in seven languages and an audio loop for the hard of hearing is also in place for the video show. There is another film to view in the South Tower before descending for the short walk to the historical Engine Rooms, included in your ticket price. Victorian Engine Rooms: These provide a fascinating insight into late 19th century engineering. Installed for the completion of Tower Bridge in 1894, these huge, and beautifully maintained, coal-driven engines were used to power the thousands of bascule Bridge lifts performed until 1976. Although lifts are now operated by electricity, the original steam engines are still in place. The Engine Rooms give visitors a chance to experiment with models demonstrating the technology behind the Bridge. There are also some amazing photographs of  Tower BridgeTthroughout its lifetime – including a revealing picture of the heavy steel structure of the Bridge as the stone cladding was installed over it. Look for the giant Pacific octopus in its newly expanded habitat brimming with species found in the chilly depths of the Pacific Northwest. Eye the cuttlefish levitating in its tropical tank while the chambered nautilus jets through its inky dark display. From petite red octopuses to graceful seajellies, dive into the dazzling diversity of these mysterious ocean animals as Tentacles take hold at the New England Aquarium! ​ GIANT OCEAN TANK Enjoy 360-degree views of spectacular, four-story Caribbean coral reef teeming with more animals than ever before. In 2013, the iconic Giant Ocean Tank underwent a top-to-bottom, 21st century transformation, including windows that provide crystal-clear viewing opportunities: a vibrant, revitalized coral reef with more than 1, 000 fishes: and the Yawkey Coral Reef Center at the top fo the exhibit. The colorful Caribbean coral reef is home to sea turtles, eels and hundreds of tropical fishes of all sizes. SEALS AND SEA LIONS AT PLAY AT THE NEW BALANCE FOUNDATION MARINE MAMMAL CENTER The seals and sea lions are always at play. Watch ​ California sea lions​ dart through the water and limber Northern fur seals​​ frolic in this beautiful open­air exhibit space, and find out about the challenges marine mammals face in the wild! ​ THE LARGEST SHARK AND RAY TOUCH TANK ON THE EAST COAST The Trust Family Foundation Shark and Ray Touch Tank features sharks and rays in a mangroved - themed tank surrounded by shallow edges and viewing windows, allowing visitors to experience a close encounter with these animals. Visitors to this exhibit can reach out and gently touch the backs of cownose rays. Atlantic rays and sharks as they swim gracefully through the crystal-clear water. The exhibit presents these incredible species in a way that highlights their importance in a healthy ocean ecosystem. It also emphasizes the valued of conserving essential coastal habitats, such as mangroves and lagoons. ATLANTIC HARBOR SEALS Visitors can enjoy the Atlantic harbor seals in their exhibit on the Aquarium plaza before buying admission tickets. Watch the seals swim, play and rest. Learn more about them and see some expert behaviors as they work with trainers during free training sessions throughout the day. BLUE PLANET ACTION CENTER This exhibit is part of the Aquarium’s recent top­-to-bottom, 21st century transformation. The exhibit area presents the serious challenges facing the oceans and showcases the Aquarium's global leadership in searching for solutions with a combination of interactive displays, interpretive presentations and small live animal exhibits.
