Der \"DMXS8\" von INVOLIGHT ist ein Splitter und Repeater im 19\'\' Format. Er bietet acht 3-polige XLR Ausgänge zum Aufteilen des DMX-Signals bei komplexen Aufbauten und Installationen. Dieses Gerät empfängt das ankommende DMX Signal und verteilt es auf 8 getrennte Ausgänge. Das verringert Probleme mit Masse-Schleifen und verstärkt das DMX-Signal. Alle Ausgänge umfassen 3-polige XLR-Buchsen, die elektronisch galvanisch getrennt sind, um ununterbrochenen Datenfluss zu gewährleisten. Äußerst sinnvoll ist auch der zuschaltbare 120 Ohm Endwiderstand für den DMX Link-Out. Wird er nicht benötigt, kann somit der Endwiderstand hinzugeschaltet werden, um Störungen zu verhindern. Jeder Ausgang verfügt über eine rote und grüne Kontroll LED. Diese signalisieren, ob alles okay ist (grün) oder eine Störung vorliegt (rot). Darüber hinaus verfügt jeder Ausgang über dedizierte Treiber, um das eingehende Signal zu verstärken.
