Are there any age restrictions? Children are welcome on the tour, but please bear in mind that some children have a limited attention span and therefore a 3 hour tour may not be appropriate for them. Parents know their children best and should assess the situation individually. Since there is a lot of standing and walking please consider this when deciding whether the tours are appropriate for your child. Also, the tours require a certain level of physical stamina. For our walking tours, we are on our feet for approximately 3 hours. How physically fit do I need to be to enjoy this tour? Tours walk at an easy pace and cover approximatley 1 mile of walking. Our tours are generally appropriate for all ages and fitness levels, but please use your best judgment. Is smoking allowed on the tour? The tours maintain a no-smoking policy. How do I use my pass to visit the Statue of Liberty? Present your New York Explorer Pass at one of the Statue Cruises ticket counters inside Castle Clinton at Battery Park. Once you have obtained your Ferry Ticket from Castle Clinton you must wait in the security line before boarding. The Ferry requires is airport-level security, so be prepared for a long wait. Allow at least 2 hours to visit one island and 4 hours to visit Ellis & Liberty islands. Your pass provides you access to the island only. Pedestal & crown access requires reservations and space is limited, and is not included with your pass. What’s the catch? There’s no catch. Head over to the farm yards where you’ll get to see stockwhip cracking, sheep shearing and working dogs in action.  From here we’ll take you to the Koala Conservation Centre where you’ll get up close to koalas in their natural environment.  Next we head over to the home of the Little Penguins, Summerland Peninsula, but before we meet the stars of the show we’ll take a break at the Nobbies Centre.  Last but certainly not least is the world famous Penguin Parade. Here you’ll see hundreds of Little Penguins come ashore just after sunset, make their way across the beach and up into the sand dunes to their burrows.
