Titanic Experience Belfast + SS Nomadic Discover what it was like to board the RMS Titanic on her fateful maiden voyage with a visit to Titanic Belfast and the SS Nomadic. Be in awe of the building as it was built to the same gigantic scale as the RMS Titanic. This exhibition is informative and interactive, making it fun, engaging and accessible for everyone. The adventure begins the moment you walk into the building’s giant atrium, surrounded by the four ‘hull’ shaped sections which house the experience. As you wander up through Titanic Belfast, you’ll learn about Belfast at the turn of the century and experience a thrilling ride through the reconstruction of the shipyards and the Titanic under construction. Discover the stories of the passengers, the crew and the heroes of the day; relive the tragic end to Titanic’s maiden voyage, and visit the wreck at her resting place on the floor of the Atlantic. Enjoy breath-taking views to the slip-ways where the Titanic was launched and relax in one of the superb catering outlets. The SS Nomadic is located in the Hamilton Dry Dock adjacent to Titanic Belfast. Not only is she famous for being the tender ship to the RMS Titanic, but she also served in World War I and II. Visitors can walk in the footsteps of Titanic Passengers and soldiers and celebrities such as Charlie Chaplin, Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton and Marie Curie. Following a stint as a Parisian restaurant and nightclub, the SS Nomadic was restored to her original glory and came back home to Belfast.
