There is no time limit as to how long guests can stay on the observation decks during operating hours. The average length of stay is about 45 minutes to an hour. Top of the Rock is a three level observation deck that consists of the 67th, 69th, and 70th floors of 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Total surface area of all the decks together is approximately 55,000 square-feet (5,110 m2). The upper deck is 850 feet (260 m) above street level. Are there restrooms located at Top of the Rock? Yes, restrooms can be accessed once inside the attraction. Can I visit the mezzanine level exhibit after I visit the observation decks? Due to crowd flow purposes, the pre-show exhibit can only be viewed before visiting the observation decks. Is there an outdoor viewing area? The 67th and 69th floors include outdoor terraces which feature fully transparent, safety glass. The 70th floor, the uppermost level, provides a completely open air, unobstructed 360-degree view of New York City and beyond. Is Top of the Rock weather dependent? Top of the Rock is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, despite weather conditions. In the case of inclement weather, portions of the deck may be closed for safety reasons. Guests will be advised about weather conditions and visibility prior to entry. Top of the Rock will not refund tickets in the case of inclement weather, however we will reissue your ticket for a future time and date. Is the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree and/or Skating Rink visible from the Top of the Rock? Unfortunately, no. However, both are easily accessible from the Concourse retail shop where guests exit the elevators after their visit. Is Top of the Rock wheelchair accessible? Top of the Rock is in full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. This includes full wheelchair accessibility. Are strollers allowed? Strollers are permitted, however they must be collapsible. Can I bring tripods? What about professional video cameras? We do not allow tripods or professional video cameras on the observation deck. Are specific items prohibited from entering the building and/or observation deck? Items that present a danger to the safety of visitors and employees will not be permitted in the building or on the observation decks. Trip style: Local Life & Culture, History & Heritage Language Tour: English Full Itinerary Get the local lowdown on a city that's seen its fair share of drama in recent years on this historical Detroit tour that takes you through the city's crazy past. Begin your Detroit tour at a cafe on Broadway, where you'll meet your local guide and head out onto the streets. From the minute you leave the meeting point you'll start seeing some famous Detroit landmarks, such as the 95-year old Detroit Athletic Club, the renovated Opera House, the vacant Wurlitzer Building, and the fine new downtown YMCA. Your local guide will be telling you all you need to know about these spots, and what they mean to the city of Detroit. Continuing on your tour in Detroit, see the site where one of the biggest department stores in the US once stood. When it closed in the 1980s, it left a hole in the city that hasn't been filled.  There are not many stores in the old retail district, but apartments and lofts have brought some new life to the area. Next on this Detroit city tour, the Compuware Building from 2002 is worth a visit, for its 15-story atrium and colourful fountain. Outside that building you'll see a panorama that includes landmarks like the 47-story Penobscot Building from 1928, the Guardian Building from 1929, and the Renaissance Centre from 1977, which is home to the tallest hotel in the entire Western Hemisphere (72 floors!) as well as the headquarters of General Motors. Then you'll see Campus Martius Park in the heart of downtown, which opened in 2004 and features an ice-skating rink in winter and activities year-round. It recently won an award as the nation's most transformative urban park, and is a fine example of how Detroit is making a serious comeback. A visit to the Guardian Building gives you a picture of the greatness of Detroit in the late 1920s. The lobby and banking room of this art-deco skyscraper are truly incredible. We'll take a stop here, and then we take a ride on the elevated People Mover, which has been moving people around downtown Detroit since 1987.  From the Michigan Avenue Station, see the $800 Million MGM Grand Casino and hotel that were completed in 2008, and the new Rosa Parks Transit Centre (named for "the mother of the Civil Rights Movement") with its dramatic canopies.    If the weather is nice, we'll walk to a nearby hotel that's a great example of Detroit's rise, fall and renewal.  When it opened in 1924 it was the tallest hotel in the world and one of the fanciest, but it closed in the 1980s and stood vacant for more than 25 years on a prominent street corner. Detroiters were thrilled when it reopened after a $200 million renovation as the wonderful, a proud moment in Detroit's history! A block down from here is one of the world's tallest vacant buildings at 36-storeys high. Your leader will tell you stories of its past and how it awaits a new life. Next, we visit the area near Grand Circus Park, which is full of examples of Detroit's rocky history. Here we'll find even more vacant buildings as well as legendary parks and music venues that have hosted the like of Bruce Springsteen and Detroit's own Eminem. This gives us many more opportunities for your guide to let you in on all the local secrets behind them. It's one thing simply seeing these buildings, but to get to know the history behind them makes the experience even more special, especially when it comes from the mouth of a local! Height requirements for the rides are located on the park maps, which can be found in the Orlando or Kissimmee sections of the web site. How much does it cost if I'm not riding anything? Our Free Admission means that there is NO Cost to come in and watch others enjoying the rides. So if you are not riding, you are not paying. It is FREE! Do I need an armband if all I am doing is driving my child on the go-karts? If a child is not tall enough to drive themselves on a ride/go-kart, then someone over 18 may drive them IF the driver has either an Armband (54+) OR a Chauffeur Armband which is only permits you to drive a child and only drive a child on rides they could not do without an adult. The cost of a Chauffeur Armband is only $9.95. Is the arcade included in the armband? Because you can win prizes the more you play certain arcade games, we do not have any unlimited arcade. With our arcade you pay per game with a Fun-E-Card you purchase. Game prices vary from $.25 to $2.00. Is the SkyCoaster ride included in the armband? The SkyCoaster is a unique, one of a kind ride. To ride the SkyCoaster by yourself, it costs $40, BUT if you have already purchased an Armband, you may include the SkyCoaster for only an additional $20. What happens when it rains? Fun Spot has lots of options when it rains. First of all we can offer you a rain check, if you have had an Armband for less than 90 minutes. So you can go and come another day. OR keep your Armband and wait until the rain ends and return to the park to continue riding and racing. We are open until Midnight. OR ride in the rain. Many rides stay open in the rain. How heavy the rain is, and whether or not there is lightning will determine which rides remain open. If you choose to stay, get a poncho from us. We value price them to make it attractive for you to stay. Can I bring in my own food? We do allow you to bring in your own birthday Cake if you are having a birthday celebration. Other than that we ask for no outside food or drink in our park. We are free admission, it is easy to leave the park and return after eating. Of course, once you see our fun food options, we hope to tempt you into staying and recharging here. Can I leave and come back? With Free Admission you may come and go as often as you would like. Your armbands will be good until Midnight. So if you leave at 3 pm and want to return at 9 pm, as long as your Armbands are still on your arms there is no additional charge. How much is it for my baby? For anyone who is not doing the rides, we are a FREE admission park. We do not recommend our rides for any child under 24 months. If your two year old only wants to do one carousel ride, it is $3 a ride. Speak with a manager if your child needs you to ride with them on one of our pre-school rides. So your baby is free, but if your toddler chooses to ride then they are a customer. Where are the restrooms? This is our most common question. Please check the park maps or ask any employee.                         All aboard for Westeros!     We start the day by travelling along the  Causeway Coastal Route through beautiful coastal towns, including Ballycastle, which Game of Thrones fans will know as home to the actors who play Lady Catelyn Stark and Varys!       Main stops include:       Cushendun -  where we visit the Cave which featured Melisandre giving birth to the shadow assassin!   Ballintoy Harbour is the next port of call, where Theon Greyjoy cames back to Pyke Harbour.  This is so recognisable there has even been a plaque erected!   Giant’s Causeway – you can’t come this far without visiting this UNESCO World Heritage Sie   Carrick-a-Rede Ropebridge - you can't be so close and not fit in a visit to the Ropebridge - but please don't do a Balon Greyjoy!   Larrybane - where Renly swears to Lady Stark that he will avenge Ned's death, but meets his end at the hands of the shadow assassin conjured up in those caves you visited in Cushendun.   The Dark Hedges – Possibly the most recognisable of the locations where Arya Stark makes her escape down The Kings Road.
      There is a lot of walking on what are sometimes uneven surfaces during this tour, and it therefore requires moderate fitness levels.  Please come dressed appropriately for not only the season, but also for the activity.     Seats on our coach tours are limited, so Book Now to reserve your spot.
