A lo largo de la Edad Media, las ruinas fueron utilizados como una fuente de piedra para el Sevilla, pero afortunadamente el anfiteatro ha sobrevivido, aunque en estos días se desmorona peligrosamente. Más allá de esto son unos veinte mosaicos, incluyendo un excelente piso de color con los pájaros, Neptuno y las estaciones.
