Am Gaumen präsentiert sich der Wein dicht, harmonisch und mit ausgeprägter Pinot-Frucht, mit Anklängen von Tabak und Gewürzen. Ein klassischer Pommard, der erst am Beginn seiner Entwicklung steht. Passt zu Speisen mit dunklem Fleisch, z.B. gebratenem Rehrücken, Roastbeef, feinem Wildgeflügel oder gegrilltem Gemüse mitkräftigen Saucen.
