Spills and thrills of the water park kind are to be found in abundance at this famous Park.    Home to one of the world's largest outdoor wave pools "Disney legend" has it that this is where a typhoon caused chaos at a previously unspoiled tropical paradise with the result that ships and surf boards are flung about the landscape   "Mount Mayday" erupts a 50 foot geyser of water every 30 minutes. Prepare to be immersed in a torrent of fun*   Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park   The story goes that this watery wonderland was at one time a ski resort, now melted to become a spectacular Water Park   Scare yourself silly as you zip down Mount Gushmore, one of the world's tallest water slides If this is too terrifying, elect instead to float down the tranquil river or simply get some rays on the white sandy beach For little ones (under 48 inches) a dedicated water play area is to be enjoyed, complete with its own snow-castle fountain and kid-sized water slides.*   *Before you go please review important planning information, including the Parks' dress policy."   Please note: Each year the Water Parks at Walt Disney World are subject to seasonal closure for refurbishment and maintenance. Life jackets are complimentary and available at towel rental locations. Life jackets are required for all swimmers under 48”/1.2m and recommended for weak or inexperienced swimmers of all ages. All swimmers under 48”/1.2m should be kept within arm's reach of a responsible adult whenever in the water. Intoxicated guests will be refused entry to Aquaventure Water Park. Children should be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.  Lifeguards are present for the safety of all guests but there is no substitute for constant supervision of the children and others. Eye-glasses and jewellery should be removed prior to riding.  Aquaventure attractions are not recommended for expectant mothers, persons with a history of neck, back, joint or heart problems, or persons overweight or with physically limiting conditions. Guests with injuries (casts, bandages, etc) or contagious diseases are not permitted on the attractions. Swim nappies for babies and young children must be worn within pools and are available in all gift shops within the park.  Please wear appropriate swimwear at all times. Inappropriate swimwear includes but not limited to the following:  Thongs Underwear on its own Street Clothes Clothing with rivets, buckles or exposed metal Long, loose – fitting clothing Any garments deemed inappropriate by Atlantis Management We request that Aquaventure guests observe and respect cultural sensitivities which relate to this part of the world. The Map Room La Sala de Mapas entró en uso desde el primer día en que las Cabinet War Rooms estaban listas para su ocupación y siguieron siendo el corazón de la zona durante toda la guerra. La habitación estaba abierta las veinticuatro horas de todos los días, desde Agosto del 1939 hasta Agosto del 1045. La función principal de la sara era actuar como un lugar de encuentro para recoger información sobre la guerra. The War Cabinet Room Este fue el santuario interior del Gobierno Británico, la sala utilizada para las reuniones del Primer Ministro, un grupo selecto de ministros y consejeros de su gabinete de guerra y sus Jefes de Estado Mayor. En el lugar se llevaron a cabo 115 reuniones del gabinete de guerra y las decisiones más trascendentales se tomaron en esta sala. Los reposabrazos rascados del asiento en el que se sentó Churchill dan testimonio de las tensiones de esas reuniones cruciales en momentos críticos de la guerra. Churchill's Room A pesar de las comodidades de su habitación en las Cabinet War Rooms, a Winston Churchill no le gustaba dormir allí. Solo la utilizaba para visitas y negocios si se veía obligado a esconderse. También realizó cuatro de sus discursos durante la guerra allí, incluyendo el discurso del 11 de Setiembre de 1940, advirtiendo de los planes de Hitler para librar una guerra contra el Reino Unido. The Transatlantic Telephone Room Transatlantic Telephone Room, una habitación en la cual había conectado un encriptador 'Sigsaly' creó una línea de acceso directo que permitió a Churchill y el presidente Americano conversar sobre sus estrategias bajo seguridad total. Igual que todas las habitaciones en el complejo, originalmente esta tenía un propósito más humilde - una vez fue una tienda para escobas y equipamiento doméstico. Fue adaptada a medianos de 1943 para albergar esta instalación secreta. The Churchill Museum El Museo Churchill está dividido en 5 capítulos que abarcan los 90 años de la vida de Churchill. La historia comienza el 10 de Mayo de 1940 con el nombramiento de Churchill como el Primer Ministro. Los visitantes podrán explorar los últimos años de su vida, su infancia, su temprana política carrera y finalmente el período más famoso de su vida: 'Gathering Storm'. Facilities El Café Switchroom es un gran lugar para relajarse con una variedad de comida recién preparada en las instalaciones, junto con una gran variedad de bebidas. Abierto los 7 días de la semana desde las 10:00 hasta las 17:00, el café se encuentra a mitad del camino, pero podrá visitar el local en cualquier momento. En él también encontrará un reportaje fotográfico interesante sobre la Segunda Guerra Mundial.  Todos los visitantes están provistos de una audioguía gratuita disponible en Inglés (adulto, familiar y versión con descripción para gente con problemas de visión), francés, alemán, italiano, español, hebreo, holandés y mandarín. También ofrecemos visitas familiares o para grupos de niños.

La sala de proyección de l'Hemisfèric tiene tres sistemas separados que proyectan hacia una pantalla cóncava de novecientos metros cuadrados. Estos sistemas son: cine en gran formato IMAX Dome, imagen digital en 3D y proyecciones digitales en la cúpula completa, con frecuencia sobre temas de astronomía. Ponte cómodo y déjate transportar a una nueva dimensión. Todos estos elementos le han valido el sobrenombre de ''el ojo de la sabiduría'' y el planetario.  El Museo de las Ciencias Príncipe Felipe muestra una serie de fascinantes exposiciones dedicadas a varios temas, entre ellos el cambio climático y el ADN humano. También dispone de una zona para niños donde se exhiben datos interesantes sobre los hábitats naturales, la contaminación y el espacio exterior. La sección ''Magia química'' es algo que no te puedes perder, y si te interesan los grandes científicos encontrarás un piso entero dedicado a su obra. Los amantes del deporte también pueden pasarse por la sección dedicada al club de fútbol más famoso de la ciudad, el Valencia CF, y la exhibición de los superhéroes de Marvel atrae a jóvenes y adultos por igual. Durante el verano, del 17 de julio al 31 de agosto, hay espectáculos especiales por la noche desde las 20:00 horas hasta la medianoche.
