When designing a product, it is important to think about what the consumer
wants. One does not want a power outlet. One wants to have the freedom to
work wherever it is the most convenient. Ultimately, we would design a
solution by which you do not need power sockets anymore.
Our customer does not want a power socket, but a power solution. Often
you arrive at your office, at home, in a meeting, or somewhere else and
find it difficult to reach for a nearby available power outlet to charge
your notebook or cell phone. The PowerCube will eliminate this problem as
it allows you to mount multiple power sockets where it is the most
convenient. It is a versatile product, enabling you to place a power
outlet anywhere you want.
Docking system
At the office, power outlets are almost never within reach. Often
you will have to duck beneath your desk to reach for an available outlet.
PowerCube Extended versions come with a unique docking system, enabling
you to mount the PowerCube on your desk or underneath it so that you can
charge your notebook and smartphone right from your desktop.
Removable tape
The docking station that comes with PowerCube Extended versions can
be mounted with the two pieces of tape provided. Whenever you decide to
remove it, simply pull the tabs. We carefully selected the sticky tape to
be as powerful as possible, and yet leave no traces on the surface when
removed.
Duo-charging
In the bedroom you might want to read an eBook, work with your
tablet computer, and/or play with your smartphone. However, their USB
cables are often too short to reach your bed. By placing a PowerCube
Extended USB next to your bed, you can charge your devices via its
high-powered dual USB ports (2.1A) that allow charging two devices
simultaneously. The charging time will be shorter than charging via a USB
port on your notebook. Now you do not need to worry about running out of
battery, as power is available right at your bedside.
No blockage
The world would be a better, more efficient place, if the devices we
use had compact plugs. Unfortunately, most of our technological
accessories come with bulky adaptors that cover adjacent sockets, wasting
an entire outlet, but our uniquely designed Powercube Original avoids
outlet blockage, keeping things easy and efficient.
Cable management
For anyone who wants to arrange their power cords neatly, the
PowerCube Extended versions include a CableFix that helps align the cables.
