The new attraction Voletarum is very popular which may produce long waiting lines, but not for you: Go to the Voletarum, present your 365-ticket and you will get a time slot ticket. With this ticket you can skip the line. Europa-Park as a vast Winter Wonderland Thick snow flakes drift through the air, aromas of baking cookies waft past the nose, and thousands of fairy lights light the way. Europa-Park has spruced up for winter and is awaiting its visitors. From 24 November 2018 until 6 January 2019 (closed 24/25 December), Germany's largest leisure park is becoming a huge, fascinating winter wonderland. TOUR DETAILS Similar to the Drive, Fly, Float tour, this excursion features a thrilling helicopter descent to the canyon floor. Not for the faint-of-heart, the Skywalk is a transparent walkway that extends 70 feet past the rock rim and floats 4,000 feet above the canyon floor! You won’t regret stepping onto the glass after you see the vast expanse around you. Glasnevin Cemetery was established in 1828. An award winning museum was built in 2010 containing a café, shop, interactive exhibitions, genealogy section, and function space. Glasnevin is the largest cemetery in Ireland with over 1.5 million people buried there including many historical icons and regular Dubliners. Daniel O'Connell, the liberator and cemetery founder, whose monument tower is the tallest in Ireland, lies in a decorative crypt. Glasnevin now operates as a Tourist attraction in Dublin, its guided tours being particularly successful. It also continues to operate as a fully functioning facility for burials and cremations.  Tours include a visit to Daniel O'Connell's Crypt. The tours are 1 1/4 hours and the museum is self guided. The O'Connell Tower is now open to visitors! You can now clumb the O'Connell Tower - Ireland's yallest round tower for the first time in over 45 years. As you pass through the ornate crpyt of Daniel O'Connell, you begin the journey to the top of the monument built in his honour. After a comprehensive restoration programme, the staircase in the tower is now accessible, complete with an exhibition about the legendary figure himself and the fascinating history pf the tower. Once at the top, you will enjoy 360 degree panoramic views of the sprawling grounds of the cemetary, the city of Dublin, Wicklow and the Irish Sea. Tower opening hours: 10am-5pm daily

The old port in Fira is accessible only: By cable car: It is perfectly safe, it consists of 6 wagons and has capacity of 6 persons per wagon. During high season (April-October) it runs every 20 minutes. Single tickets cost €5 for adults and €2.50 for children. On foot: You would need to walk down the famous 600 steps of the traditional road that connects the old port with the town of Fira. The descend takes about 20-30 minutes, depending on your physical condition. By donkey: The donkeys used to be the traditional transportation way of the island. They go up and down to the old port of Fira frequently. A single ride costs around €5 per person and takes about 20 minutes. Most people prefer to take the donkey on their way up.
