Scarborough SEA LIFE & Marine Sanctuary invites you this year to explore the magical re-creation of the most amazing natural wonder in the world, the awe-inspiring Great Barrier Reef. Discover an array of tropical sharks, beautiful rays and colourful coral beneath the ocean surface. Turtle Sanctuary: Visit our brand new refuge for endangered freshwater turtles, the latest in a Europe-wide network of breeding facilities for these strange and exotic animals… many of which have been pushed to the brink of extinction. Our seal hospital is busy all year round caring for sick and injured seal pups until, whenever possible, they are well enough to be returned to the wild. Other highlights include an incredible otter sanctuary, penguin sanctuary and a whole host of other incredible marine creatures. Informative talks and feeding presentations throughout the day make this a memorable day out for the whole family. Restaurant: Indoor: Relax in our café where a selection of hot and cold food is available. We also offer a kids meal with a free gift. Hot food is served from 11 am until 4pm (3pm in winter) Outdoor: From Easter to the end of October you can relax at the outdoor themed seating area and take in the superb views over the North bay. There is a wide range of hot and cold drinks, ice creams and snacks to choose from. Let the children pan for gold while you enjoy your cappuccino. Each child receives a medal for their efforts. Shop: Visit our shop for every kind of fishy souvenir you can imagine Showtime: There are regular talks, presentations and feeding displays with our sanctuary animals throughout the day. Entre cimas de casi 3000 metros de altitud se encuentra el acogedor Valle de Nuria, donde su preservada flora y fauna aguardan tu llegada, para que disfrutes de un día inolvidable.  Iniciarás tu viaje subiendo al tren cremallera, con el que recorrerás más de 10 kilómetros con un desnivel de 1000 metros. Tendrás una panorámica privilegiada del valle desde el aire, en el Telecabina. Una vez en Nuria podrás visitar el Santuario, contemplar el lago o pasear por los múltiples caminos señalizados que encontrarás. Por último degustarás apetitosos embutidos de la zona y el licor de Nuria.

Take a 60 minute airboat tour of the Florida Everglades. Your tour will be guided by one of our experienced captains who have received extensive training. During the tour, you'll listen to tales of how the Seminole and panther once coexisted in this lush wilderness.  Also, you'll catch a glimpse of endangered wildlife as you skim across the glassy water. On our tours, feel free to let your spirit soar as you view nature at its finest. Note: All airboat ticket purchases automatically include entrance into our exhibit areas! Shows are included in all of the Exhibit Areas! Reptile Exhibit: Our reptile exhibit features dozens of species, both native and exotic to Florida.  Along with our friendly turtles and iguanas, you can learn about Cannibal, our 1000 pound alligator. Our handlers are happy to demonstrate how these animals live and survive in the wild.  We also have a variety of monitors and rescued exotic snakes.  Be sure to bring your camera, so you can capture the excitement of you cradling one of these majestic animals with our "Hold a Baby Alligator" experience!  Glades Exhibit: Start off by spending a few leisurely minutes enjoying the "Our Everglades Story" video presentation. This video touches on the history of the Glades and some current subjects of importance to its conservation efforts.  Exotic Wildlife Exhibit: A separate organization that brings a variety of animals to the park each day to visit. They strive to educate and enlighten the public about endangered species like the Florida Panther. Mammals in their care are adopted and rescued from facilities who lose their licensing or individuals who possessed the animal illegally. Playful critters abound and amaze as you get up close and personal with many different animals that often include panthers, leopards, caracal's, a bobcat and even some surprise smaller mammals each day.  Currently, they display Mia, a beautiful Florida panther, their black leopards, Damien and Jessie and a variety of other small mammals.  The handlers are passionate about the care of these gentle animals and are happy to answer any questions. Please note that the variety of animals on display may change from day to day and there is no guarantee of specific animals at any time.

For your riding safety, guests must be at least 12 years of age and weigh at least 100 pounds and not in excess of 260 pounds. All participants must be at least 12 years of age.   QUESTION: HOW BIG WILL MY GROUP BE? Our tours operate in groups of 8 guests or less.   QUESTION: WHAT TIME DO I NEED TO GET THERE FOR MY TOUR? We ask that the client arrive 10-15 minutes early for the scheduled tour to fill out necessary paperwork.  Each member of your party will be required to complete and sign a liability waiver form.   QUESTION: WILL I NEED TO PUT DOWN A DEPOSIT? Yes.  Insurance requires that City Segway Tours pre-authorize 400€ on a credit card. Please bring your MasterCard, Visa, Amex, or cash with you for this deposit (not Discovery).  Your card will not be charged, but we will hold onto the details should your Segway incur any damage while in your possession.   QUESTION: IF THIS IS MY FIRST TIME TO RIDE A SEGWAY, WILL I BE ABLE TO PICK IT UP QUICKLY? Your safety is always our highest priority. Therefore, we begin each tour with a very thorough orientation of the Segway and its use before going out to enjoy the city!   QUESTION: CAN MINORS COME ON TOUR ALONE? For safety reasons, minors (anyone under the age of 18) must be accompanied by an adult on the tour.   QUESTION: IF I AM PREGNANT CAN I JOIN THE TOUR? Unfortunately, due to the risk to both child and mother, pregnant women are not allowed to participate on our Segway tours.   QUESTION: ARE THE TOURS CANCELLED IF IT RAINS? Our tours go rain or shine, and we have rain ponchos available in our office for €1 which are fully reimbursed if not used.
