We reach Doolin harbour at approx 11.30am where you can soak up the atmosphere and grab yourself a coffee before boarding our vessel for the 12pm boat trip. The boat trip will take approx 1 hour. This stunning cruise is an unmissable part of your trip to Ireland and position you with the best views of the Cliffs of Moher from sea level. They are made up of various types of perpendicular or overhanging rocks including sandstone, siltstone and shale.  These cliffs have been broken into the most fantastic forms, and eroded into hundreds of caves by the relentless pounding of the Atlantic waves. Lunch stop at McGann's pub where you can Enjoy some home-made soups, light meals, cakes and desserts, as well as a wide selection of hot and cold drinks if you desire in the picturesque village of Doolin We make our way to Doolin Cave for the 2pm Tour. You'll never see anything else like it.... Oh, and did we mention, your Driver and his father built the very tunnel you went down in today - did you spot his picture on the wall? After the Cave, we make our way to The Burren - a region of County Clare in the southwest of Ireland. It’s a karst landscape of bedrock incorporating a vast cracked pavement of glacial-era limestone, with cliffs and caves, fossils, rock formations and archaeological sites.  After the Burren, we make our way to Galway City. The city’s hub is 18th-century Eyre Square, a popular meeting spot surrounded by shops, traditional pubs, stone-clad cafes, boutiques and art galleries within winding lanes and medieval city walls. Visitors to the exhibition will meet the elusive giants of the sea, including whales, sharks, giant squid; sink beneath the waves in a virtual submersible theater; and marvel at the vivid fluorescence displayed by marine creatures but invisible to us . . . until now. And they’ll leave with a deeper awareness that the future of the planet depends on the future of the ocean. The Butterfly Conservatory (October 7th, 2017 - May 29th, 2019) This exhibition, an annual favorite, features up to 500 live, free-flying tropical butterflies from the Americas, Africa, and Asia. The butterflies are housed in a vivarium that approximates their natural habitat, includes live flowering plants that serve as nectar sources, and features controlled artificial light, temperature, and humidity. T. rex: The Ultimate Predator: (March 11, 2019 - June 16th, 2019) This exhibition will focus on the on the genus of dinosaurs known as tyrannosaurs. The exhibition will explore how these mega-predators came to be, with an emphasis on the most famous and impressive member of the family, Tyrannosaurus rex. Departing in the heart of Historic Fisherman’s Wharf, at Pier 43 ½, sail past the San Francisco skyline and view the lively neighborhood of North Beach, the famous swimming clubs of Aquatic Park, the historic vessels at Hyde Street Pier, the San Francisco Maritime National Park, and numerous other exciting sights. As you head west towards the Golden Gate Bridge, cruise along Fort Mason and the Marina District which was devastated in the 1989 earthquake. Next, enjoy views of Crissy Field and the lush hillsides of the Presidio—both former army installations—that are now part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. Don’t miss incredible photo opportunities when sailing directly under the massive 4,200-foot span of the 746-foot tall San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge. As you steam back into the Bay, travel past the wildlife reserves of the Marin Headlands and the legendary town of Sausalito, once home to the 1960s’ flower generation. Kensington Palace, Parliament Square and Westminster Abbey: Our tour begins with a panoramic drive up to Kensington Palace, former home of Diana, Princess of Wales. Well see the Royal Albert Hall and Albert Memorial before heading down to Trafalgar Square, along Whitehall, past the Prime Minister's Residence at Downing Street and around Parliament Square, where we'll see Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and, of course, Westminster Abbey. Buckingham Palace and the Changing of the Guard: We head to St James' Park and Buckingham Palace to see the colourful ceremony of the Changing of the Guard. Accompanied by a military band, a detachment of the Queen's Foot Guard march to Buckingham Palace in their bearskins and red tunics, and a change with the Old Guard. The tour finishes at Trafalgar Square at around 12.00pm. Your guide will be happy to give you suggestions for lunch and transportation back to your hotel. Alternatively, why not visit the site of the last great Royal Wedding, St Paul's Cathedral - join our afternoon City of London tour, departing Trafalgar Square at 1pm. Occasionally there may not be a Changing of the Guard, on these occasions we will visit Horseguards Parade.

Visit O’Brien’s Tower, watch an interactive video at the Visitor’s Center and stroll the clifftop, admiring the panoramic views out to the ocean and the Aran Islands. In good weather, we can have lunch next to the cliffs. Another inviting option is to head to the charming village of Doolin for lunch. Doolin is a charming village with excellent food options. Try the seafood! Our journey then takes us to the limestone wonder called The Burren, which is a rocky yet fertile landscape for plants and flowers. Colourful flowers have burst through the clints and grikes of this limestone pavement, making it a truly unique location and a thriving ecosystem. Some varieties of flowers can only be found in this region. Navigate the rocky surface as you explore the Burren’s landscape. After we’ve strolled around the Burren, we will visit the historic vibrant city of Galway.
