Once seen as a weak performer, Plymouth jumped into the performance field for 1956 with its limited edition Plymouth Fury that did nothing but get better for 1957 and 1958. Ford Thunderbird 1st generation 1955-1957 was the first two seater convertible produced since 1938. Ford dubbed this car “a personal car of distinction”.
